After I Stopped Loving Him novel Chapter 100

Meanwhile, Ethan headed back to the city with Jordan and Natalie. Once they parted ways, he drove home by himself.

He had originally planned to spend the night at his other villa, but halfway there, he changed his mind. He took a different route and decided to go back to the house he shared with Isabella. He needed to know if she’d come home.

She hadn’t called or texted him all day. Not that he’d reached out either. Natalie had messaged him, but he told her not to worry about Isabella. He figured he’d spoiled Isabella too much, and now she thought she could do whatever she wanted. That was the problem with spoiling someone. The moment you let your guard down, they started thinking they could walk all over you.

Soon, Ethan’s car pulled up to the gate. He honked a few times, and Susan, the housekeeper, hurried out to open it for him.

Ethan rolled down his window and asked, “Is Isabella home?”

Susan looked surprised. “Isn’t Isabella with you? I haven’t seen her come back.”

She knew Ethan had ordered Isabella’s luggage to be thrown out, but she figured Isabella loved him so much that she would have made up with him by now.

Ethan’s face tightened. If Isabella wasn’t here, then where was she? Maybe she went to her parents’ place. Other than that, she didn’t really have anywhere else to go. No, actually, she had a couple of options. She could be at her best friend’s apartment, or maybe she went to the small villa he’d given her.

Ethan ran through the possibilities in his head, but didn’t say anything else to Susan as he drove into the garage.
