After I Stopped Loving Him novel Chapter 303

Once Isabella stepped into the elevator, Ethan rushed off to his meeting.

The meeting dragged on for an hour. When it finally ended, Ethan hung around his office for a little while, then decided to leave early since lunchtime was coming up. He made a quick stop at the flower shop, picked out a beautiful bouquet, and asked his driver to take him to Isabella’s studio.

As soon as they arrived, the driver dropped Ethan off and left, just like Ethan had told him to do. When Ethan was with Isabella, he never needed a ride home. She would never let him walk.

Ethan took the elevator up, flowers in hand. As soon as the doors opened on Isabella’s floor, he spotted Harold and Barbara ahead of him, walking toward Isabella’s office. They had beaten him there by a few minutes.

The sight instantly annoyed Ethan. He was convinced Harold was only tagging along with Barbara to get closer to Isabella, but he couldn’t prove it. He couldn’t even bring it up without sounding crazy.

Without thinking, Ethan called out. “Harold!”

Both Harold and Barbara turned around. When they saw it was Ethan, they stopped and waited for him to catch up.

By now, the studio staff had gotten used to seeing these two big shots around the office. They used to be impossible to meet, but now they were regulars. Then again, their boss was Mrs. Adams.

“Ethan,” they greeted him at the same time.

Barbara noticed the flowers he was carrying and smiled. “This is the second time I’ve caught you bringing flowers for Isabella. I’m honestly jealous. You two still act like newlyweds.”

Barbara made sure Harold heard that. It wasn’t that she didn’t care about the web series. She just didn’t want Harold dragging her here all the time, but he kept pestering her until she gave in. Lately, Harold had even started watching web series just so he’d have something to talk about with them.
