Ethan’s voice turned sharp. “Where are you? Send me your location. I’m coming to get you.”

Isabella could hear how irritated he was. She sighed, not really wanting to argue. “Alright, I’ll send it to you. I’m hanging up.”

She didn’t wait for his reply. The call ended with a quick tap.

“What’s with him?” Isabella muttered as she sent him her location. “He’s probably just upset after seeing Jordan and Natalie all lovey-dovey again.”

She rolled her eyes, still grumbling. “He knows they’re always showing off their love, but he still goes to watch. Is he trying to torture himself? He already did the selfless thing by letting her go. Why doesn’t he just stay away for a bit? If he kept his distance, maybe he’d finally move on. But no, he has to keep showing up, making himself jealous and miserable. He’s really doing this to himself.”
