Aiden Finnegan the Alchemist in Delcord novel Chapter 132

Upon hearing the words, Aiden furrowed his brow. He hadn't expected the young man to be so unreasonable and even bring his grandfather along.

This is ridiculous.

Without hesitation, Aiden shouted toward the door. "Ethan, let them in!"

Shortly after, an elderly man entered the medical center, followed by the young man who had been thrown out earlier.

Pointing at Aiden, the young man exclaimed, "Grandpa, he's the one who said our medical center is incompetent and nearly caused someone's death."

The elderly man carefully observed Aiden and then said, "May I ask why the owner of this medical center accused our Saint Medical Center of incompetence and nearly caused someone's death?"

"Are you sure I said that?" Aiden calmly looked at the young man.

"Wasn't it you who told the patient that our Saint Medical Center is incompetent? If that patient had come half a year later to seek you out, the patient wouldn't have been saved," the young man retorted.

Aiden sneered and replied, "When did I mention your Saint Medical Center? I was referring to the doctor who treated the patient."

The elderly man glanced back at his grandson and realized there was a misunderstanding. His grandson seemed to want him to stand up for him and deliberately exaggerated the situation.

Looking at Aiden, the elderly man calmly said, "I am Frederick Zane, the resident doctor of the Saint Medical Center."

"How may I assist you?" Aiden asked.

"How can you be certain that it was the Saint Medical Center who made the mistake?" Frederick asked with a furrowed brow.

Aiden calmly explained, "There is an excess of Kure Herb in the patient's kidneys. Your prescription lacks the medicinal herbs that can neutralize the effects of Kure Herb. It would increase the burden on the patient's kidneys. This is why the patient is now experiencing headaches."

Frederick frowned upon hearing this and turned to look at his grandson, who avoided eye contact, realizing there was indeed a misunderstanding.

"It seems like you are an expert. However, Sir, you can’t say the Saint Medical Center’s skills are incompetent," Frederick stated.

Aiden responded calmly, "I was referring to the person who runs the pharmacy, not your skills."

"Regardless, I need to restore my reputation in this matter," Frederick said with a furrowed brow.

Aiden calmly asked, "How do you plan to do that?"

"Sir, since you claimed that my skills at the Saint Medical Center are not proficient, I would like to learn from you," Frederick proposed immediately.

While glancing at Frederick, Aiden replied, "There are still many patients here. Let me finish attending to them first."

"In that case, let's compete in speed in treating patients. What do you think, Sir?" Frederick suggested.

Aiden looked at Frederick skeptically. Frederick continued, "Let's divide the patients here and simultaneously diagnose them to see who can treat them faster and with higher accuracy."

"What a tedious challenge." Aiden scoffed.

"Hmph, you're just using words to stall. Wait until my grandpa shows you his medical skills later." The young man sneered.

Frederick was also displeased with Aiden's attitude. Even if the Saint Medical Center made a mistake this time, he seems a bit arrogant, doesn't he?

Afterward, Frederick sat at Reece's consultation desk, and both began attending to patients.

"Do you frequently experience dryness in your mouth?" Aiden asked the patient.

However, when Aiden glanced at the prescription, he said, "This prescription is incorrect."

"Why are you interrupting when my grandpa is treating the patient?" The young man was already displeased when he saw Aiden surpassing his grandpa. He became even more furious after Aiden said his grandpa's prescription was wrong.

"Silence!" Frederick scolded his grandson and turned to Aiden. He asked, "What's wrong?"

Frederick had initially thought that Aiden would feel triumphant and proud after winning. He didn't expect Aiden to point out the issue immediately.

"I made a mistake. How could I have forgotten about this?" Frederick exclaimed. He quickly replaced the Ox Gallstone with another type of medicine.

The patient held the prescription nervously and looked at Aiden. Aiden nodded and said, "This is correct."

"Treating patients? Even you lack medical skills,” the patient muttered under their breath.

Upon hearing this, Frederick's face turned red, but he said nothing. He had indeed made a mistake in prescribing the medication. If the patient had taken it, it would have caused much trouble.

After the patient left, Frederick stood up and bowed deeply to Aiden. He said, "Sir, I have been short-sighted. Please forgive me."

"In the field of medicine, learning is a lifelong journey. If someone points out your shortcomings, you should first reflect on yourself instead of blaming others," Aiden said calmly.

Frederick's face was filled with shame upon hearing this. He immediately responded, "Sir, I have learned my lesson."

"Grandpa, why are you acting like this?" The young man was filled with disbelief at Frederick’s actions.

However, Frederick became furious and scolded, "I've always told you to be attentive, but you didn't listen. If Dr. Finnegan hadn't pointed out the mistake earlier, it might have led to a disaster!"
