Angelina reached into Karin's pajamas and retrieved the religious amulet.
Upon seeing the amulet, Aiden frowned and questioned, "How could Karin believe in something like this?"
Aiden then took the amulet from Angelina's hand and forcefully removed it from Karin's neck.
"Is Karin's condition related to this amulet?" Angelina asked, confused.
Aiden nodded and replied, "That's all I'll do tonight. We'll treat Karin tomorrow. I believe she has been experiencing this recently. She needs some rest and a good night's sleep."
Upon saying that, Aiden removed the golden needle from the top of Karin's head.
However, Angelina expressed her concern, saying, "Aiden, Karin won't be like she was earlier tonight, right?"
"No, she won't," Aiden reassured with a smile.
However, Angelina looked at Aiden with fear and asked, "Are you sure?"
"I'm sure. Even if you were to hit her at night, she wouldn't move," Aiden replied confidently.
Angelina shook her head and said, "Why don't you sleep here tonight? I'm a little scared."
Aiden looked at Angelina with a peculiar expression and questioned, "You want me to sleep here?"
Angelina nodded. "Yes."
Aiden's expression became quite interesting. In his mind, he imagined himself lying on the bed with two beautiful women, one on his left and one on his right. He could look but not touch them.
Observing Aiden's peculiar expression, Angelina seemed to have thought of something and gave Aiden a disdainful look, saying, "I offer you food, but you don't eat it. Instead, you're here sulking!"
In response, Aiden chose not to respond and said, "Leave the door open when you sleep at night. I won't close my door either. If there's any movement, I'll hear it."
Angelina glanced at Aiden and noticed that he hadn't even taken off his clothes. She curiously asked, "You haven't slept yet?"
"I'm practicing martial arts," Aiden calmly replied.
Angelina retorted, "Then why not practice in my room?"
Hearing this, Aiden smiled wryly.
Angelina grabbed Aiden's arm and said firmly, "Come in!" Her tone left no room for negotiation.
Helplessly, Aiden had to stay in Angelina's room, but he sat on the floor.
While lying in bed, Angelina couldn't fall asleep no matter what. She turned to look at Aiden and saw him sitting cross-legged on the ground with his eyes closed.
There was some heat emanating from the top of his head.
"I don't believe you can endure this forever!" Angelina muttered to herself.
However, Angelina was also curious about what Aiden was doing right now. Could this be what martial artists looked like when they practiced?
Aiden had once mentioned that he had always been a martial artist. Could it be that he had been injured during his three years in the Gray Family?
Angelina began to recall Aiden's appearance when he first arrived at the Gray Family. He looked weak and seemed to have really been injured. Aiden rarely spoke in the Gray Family, and at that time, he often liked to stand alone in the yard, gazing at the sky.
And so, Angelina drifted off to sleep in a daze.
The next day, when Karin opened her eyes and saw Aiden sitting on the ground, she let out a scream that shook the heavens and the earth.
"Ah!"
Aiden let out a sigh of relief, but he thought, Are they sonic weapons or what?

"Angelina!" Karin looked at Angelina with a face full of grievances, while Angelina smiled without saying a word.
Seeing Angelina's silence, Karin rolled her eyes and said, "Fine, Angelina. You’re prioritizing romance over friendship!"
"Karin!" Aiden suddenly called out.
"What?" Karin replied impatiently.
Aiden took out the religious amulet he had taken from her the night before and asked, "Where did you get this?"
As soon as Karin saw the object in Aiden's hand, her expression changed, and she said, "How did it end up with you?"
She then looked at Aiden in disbelief and shouted at Angelina, "Angelina, last night, he..."

"An injection?" Karin looked at Angelina with a puzzled expression on her face. However, the look on her face didn't seem like she was asking about a medical treatment, but rather...
For some reason, Aiden instantly understood the expression on Karin's face and couldn't help but smirk.
"Aiden, what are you thinking?" Karin caught Aiden smirking and asked in frustration.
Aiden quickly pretended to be clueless and said, "What am I thinking?"
"I know what you're thinking!" Karin looked at Aiden with a resentful expression.
Upon hearing this, Aiden hurriedly said, "It's all in your imagination, okay?"
"And you said you weren't thinking anything?" Karin was so angry that she wanted to beat up Aiden!
