"Have you ever seen Gina care about a man that much before?" Samuel asked casually.
Calian pondered for a moment before answering, "You know, I never really thought about it until you mentioned it. Now that I think about it, Miss Harper does seem to have genuine feelings for Mr. Finnegan."
"And is that all you can tell? It's been three years since she made tea for me. But today, after Mr. Finnegan arrived, she voluntarily made tea for both of us!" Samuel expressed his dissatisfaction.
"Miss Harper's tea-making skills are quite impressive!" Calian commented. The thought of drinking Gina's tea made him drool.
Samuel glared at his friend. "You're not paying attention at all!"
"I am paying attention! It seems like she's falling in love with him. What can you do?" Calian shrugged.
Samuel sighed and continued, "Anyway, I've looked into Mr. Finnegan's background. You probably won't believe what I found out!"
"What did you find out? Is he from a prestigious family?" Calian furrowed his brows.
If that were the case, things would become complicated. After all, those families were known for their arrogance. They looked down upon ordinary families and believed that ordinary people weren't worthy of being compared to them. It would be a tragedy if Gina truly fell in love with Aiden and he turned out to be from a prestigious family.
"Mr. Finnegan is the son-in-law of the Gray Family," Samuel revealed.
Calian was taken aback by the revelation. "Are you joking, old man? How could someone like him be the son-in-law of the Gray Family?"
"It's true. However, according to the investigation, Mr. Finnegan has always been seen as a good-for-nothing in the Gray Family all these years. He recently started to prove his worth. Back then, everyone in the Gray Family strongly objected to the marriage, but Ronald went against the majority and made Angelina marry Mr. Finnegan. I wonder if that old man knew something all along!" Samuel frowned at the idea.
Calian asked, "Since Mr. Finnegan is married, what about Miss Harper?"
Samuel sighed. "We'll see. Gina probably knows that he's married. Still, he has never shared a room with Angelina."
While Samuel and Calian were engrossed in their conversation, Gina and Aiden had arrived at the riverside. As the pair enjoyed the breeze, Gina spoke up with a smile, "It's so refreshing! I wish I could bring this breeze home!"
"You're being unrealistic. How can you bring the wind home? Are all women like this?" Aiden shook his head.
She turned to him, a playful smile gracing her lips. "Indeed, we can't bring the wind home, but one of us can bring Aiden Finnegan home!"
He smiled wryly at her teasing and pleaded, "Miss Gina, can we have a serious conversation?"
"No!" She giggled.
He rolled his eyes. "That's not an appropriate thing to say to a married man."
"Does it matter? You two don't share a room anyway." Gina pouted.
Aiden remained silent upon hearing the words, simply gazing at the river.
His companion chuckled. "Well, I can't decide if you're clueless or devoted to your wife."
Her smile was stunning, and he couldn't help but be captivated for a moment.
Suddenly, he called out, "Since you're here, what's the point of hiding?"
Confused, Gina glanced at him, only to see a dozen people emerging from the darkness.
Although he had no romantic feelings for her, he would always take a second look at a beautiful woman's smile, just like anyone else. Think of it as appreciating art.
No matter how flawed a man may be, he is worth loving if he will always protect you.
Now, let's return to our uninvited guest...
To James, Aiden was the type who wouldn't learn his lessons until they were taught. I'm not joking around.
Five men carrying crowbars surrounded them. Despite the onlookers, James paid them no mind. I'm not afraid of anyone witnessing this. Dealing with someone without a powerful background like him is too easy.
Gina is here. So what? Whether the Harper Family will still stand after tonight is uncertain.

Gina finally noticed that someone had been standing on the riverbank all this time. It was none other than Jordan, whom she had met at the banquet.
"Don't you dare harm me, James." Gina frowned at James. "It would mean declaring war against my family."

"You're insane! How dare you disrespect me!" she scolded.
However, he ignored her and sneered at the scene before him. Although Aiden's skills surprised him, he remained calm. "He's skilled. No wonder he's so confident!"
Meanwhile, Jordan had stepped forward and locked eyes with Aiden, his gaze unwavering.
"I already told you he might be a martial artist, but you just wouldn't listen. If I hadn't followed you, you might already be dead," Jordan told James, who stood behind him.
"No. It wouldn't have made any difference." Aiden smiled faintly, interjecting before James could answer.
As he had inherited from the Grandmaster of Medicine, few people in this world were capable of fighting him, except for those extraordinary experts.
"Such arrogance!" For Aiden, it might just be stating a fact, but to Jordan, he was undoubtedly too arrogant.
Originally, he had only planned to teach Aiden a lesson. It seems that the incident might not have been entirely James' fault.
Some people would always see things from their own perspectives, assuming they were always right, but could never see faults in themselves.
