Blizzard, First Love and a Wife Who Finally Snaps novel Chapter 230

Adrian pulled out a tissue and wiped his tears. "What's the hurry? Didn't I tell you to wait until I've handled things? And now you've learned to smash phones. Where did you get this awful temper?"

It seemed sending him to the main residence was no longer an option. Mrs. Blackwell spoiled him too much.

Even more than he had in the past.

He had been an early bloomer intellectually, but Oliver was not. If his grandmother continued to raise him, he would be ruined.

When Isabel was around, he had never been like this.

"Go wash your face."

Adrian felt a headache coming on. He looked at the closet, where freshly pressed suits were delivered at regular intervals. Although no one made him breakfast, picked out his clothes in the morning, or tied his tie, he hadn't felt that life had changed much without Isabel.

Oliver could eat without issues now; it was just that his psychological problems were becoming more pronounced. But life went on.

Isabel was insignificant.

And yet, he felt an inexplicable frustration.

It seemed that, indeed, life was smoother when she was around.

"Dad, I'm hungry."

Adrian called the main residence and requested the cook whom Old Mrs. Blackwell had trained, the one who could replicate some of Isabel's dishes.

Reluctantly, he also hired a nanny to take care of Oliver's daily life.

"You are not to enter my room. You're responsible for everything else."

Pamela agreed, "Yes, Mr. Blackwell."

After sorting things out at Halcyon Hills Residence, Adrian immediately returned to the Blackwell Group to resume the meeting he had paused.

At six in the evening, Selena arrived.
