Chapter 100
Grace charged forward without hesitation, grabbing Giselle’s hair and yanking so hard it felt like she was going to rip her scalp clean off. She scolded through gritted teeth, “You little bitch! You ruined my son! I want to under you! I’ll murder you!TM
Facing her sudden attack, Giselle didn’t fight back, she simply let her unleash her rage.
Grace slapped her hard across the face after letting go of her hair.
Smack!
A second slap landed just as viciously.
Giselle stood there like a puppet and allowed the mother, who was on the brink of losing her son, to vent every ounce of pain on her. Her nose began to bleed, her cheek burned with a searing sting, and the taste of blood filled her mouth. However, she remained unfazed, and her face was ashen.
Compared to Zachary teetering on the brink of death, what were a few slaps to her?
After an entire night of torment, she had already come to a painful realization that she was the reason this had all happened. None of this would have happened if she hadn’t been so indecisive with Zachary and hadn’t used his feelings for her.
However, Grace wasn’t done. She raised her hand again and was ready to slap her a few more times when Donovan stepped in.
He positioned himself in front of Giselle and firmly pushed Grace’s arm away before saying hoarsely, “Grace, this is a hospital. Calm down.”
Dorothea let out a heavy sigh. The sight of Donovan standing next to Giselle only fueled her anger further. She lowered her voice and scolded him, “Look at the mess you’ve become! Are all the women in the world gone that you have to stoop to this? You’re the CEO of a major corporation, yet you’ve let some little vixen cloud you: judgment. You’ve brought nothing but shame to the family!”
With that, she stormed toward the ICU with a darkened expression.
Donovan looked Indifferent and emotionless as he faced the current mess. He stuffed his hands in his pockets and walked toward a side exit before saying to Giselle, “Come with me.”
She was still dazed from the scolding and beatings and barely registering what he said. Her face was expressionless, but she followed him out in a daze anyway.
They went to a quiet comer outside. He didn’t offer any comforting words. Instead, be simply said with his back turned to her, “This has nothing to do with you anymore. Go home.”
