Breaking Mr. Cold (Giselle and Donovan) novel Chapter 148

Giselle stepped into the shooting range, saw the wide array of firearms, and beamed. "I didn't expect you to bring me somewhere like this."

Gideon explained that the outdoor shooting range was one of his own businesses. She was even more surprised to learn that he had trained in the special forces and was incredibly skilled with firearms and ammunition. His love for all things military and his solid government connections led him to invest in setting up this shooting range where real guns were used.

Just then, she spotted two familiar faces. It was Vivienne and Sebastian.

"No way, you're here as well? Why didn't you tell me beforehand?" Vivienne greeted Giselle with a smile as she walked over. When she noticed Gideon, who was standing next to her, she realized what was going on.

Sebastian seemed equally surprised to see Giselle. "When did you meet this woman, Gideon?" he asked quietly.

Gideon shot daggers at him. "Watch your mouth! Quit calling her 'this woman' or 'that woman.'"

Sebastian, who was still unaware of what was going on between them, cleared his throat. "I was just about to introduce you to this starlet I met. She's only 19, fresh as can be—"

"Shut up!" Gideon thought this bastard was deliberately trying to ruin his image. He gave Sebastian a murderous glare. "If you don't have anything good to say, then zip it!"

Sebastian had no choice but to keep his mouth shut. Vivienne promptly dragged him off to take some pictures of her.

Giselle, on the other hand, was far more interested in the firearms. She toyed with the gun with noticeable interest.

"Come on, I'll teach you. It's pretty simple."

Gideon eagerly taught her how to use a gun. He showed her how to load, hold, and stand with the gun. Then, he personally helped her practice each step.

Initially, he only touched her hand lightly. However, once they moved on to aiming, he closed in on her and pulled her into his embrace. Gently covering her fair, delicate hand with his own, he helped steer the gun's direction.

Holding the gun, she focused on hitting the bullseye. Giselle was solely concerned about getting her stance right; she didn't pay much attention to how close Gideon was. She let him stay right beside her until he helped her pull the trigger.

With a loud bang, the first bullet she fired under his guidance hit the bullseye. Giselle did really well and focused intently on practicing.
