Her skin was naturally fair, smooth, firm, and flawless. And with only a towel wrapped around her, her long, dark, silky hair spilling over her shoulders, she looked ethereal. Staring at herself, Giselle almost forgot she was still a patient.

Just then, she saw Donovan walk in through the reflection in the mirror. He came up behind her, wrapped his arms around her, and his hands immediately started roaming over her body. She only made a token attempt to avoid him.

Giselle turned around and smeared the leftover face cream on her hands onto his cheek. While spreading it over his skin, she looked straight into his eyes. Initially, she wanted to ask him about the text from last night, but in such an intimate moment, she couldn't bring herself to ruin the mood.

Soon, he scooped her up and carried her to the bed. He was about to take things further when Joanne's voice boomed from outside. "Mr. and Mrs. Kane, breakfast is ready!"

Donovan had no choice but to stop, especially since he needed to leave soon for an early meeting and couldn't afford to get too caught up in the heat of the moment again.
