Don't get close to me (Linda and Beast) novel Chapter 15

It was around 9:00 and Linda walked into the clubhouse. She walked over to sit with her sister and Psycho stood up and kissed her forehead. She was handed a beer. She sat drinking it and talking to Psycho and Mary Ann when the door opened and Beast walked in. She saw Wolf standing next to a corner and she hurried over and hid behind him.

She said, "Wolf hide me from Beast."

He looked down at her and she stood in the corner and he stood in front of her. He stood talking to Tats. Beast walked over and said hello to Wolf and Tats. He was looking around the room.

He saw Mary Ann and Psycho sitting at the table. But he did not see Linda. "Has Linda come in tonight he asked?"

Tats said. "Linda never comes to the parties and even if she was here do you really think she wants to see or talk to you or that we would let you near her?"

Beast said. "That is not up to you."

"Yes, it is," he said.

"After what you did to her. Did you fucking forget she tried to kill herself and was in a coma for two weeks?"

Beast turned around and walked to the bar. Wolf looked behind him and said.

"We can't get her out of here until the lights are turned down and someone keeps him busy."

Tats said, "I know."

"But we can get Mary Ann over it and then Psycho can walk out the door with Linda."

Psycho brought Mary Ann over and when Beast wasn't looking she switched places with Linda. Wolf put his arm around Linda and they walked down the back hall to the back door. She left with a prospect to walk her to her apartment. He then walked back in and over to stand with Tats and then Mary Ann came out from behind Wolf.

"What a dick," Wolf said.

"He has not gotten it through his head that she doesn't want to see or talk to him. She is starting to come out of her shell but she still hates men because of him."

Hawk walked in and walked over to Psycho.

"Is Linda coming?"

" She was here but we snuck her out."

He nodded his head towards the bar.

"What the hell is he doing here?"

" Don't know. He knew she is here somewhere because her trailblazer is parked outside. That's alright. He isn't getting near her."

Beast was upset that Linda was not attending the party. He thought she might have started to heal and maybe give him a chance to talk to her. It has been three months. He was told to move on but he can't.

"Hawk if you don't shut up you and I will have a problem."

"We already have a problem. I don't like you and you don't like me."

Hawk smiled and said "before walking away. I have a date with Linda on Monday."

Beast was angry. Linda can't be going on a date with him. She is his. Not Hawks.

Linda decided to take her precious outside to use the bathroom. Hawk gave Precious to her a week after she moved into the apartment. she is so adorable and keeps her company. she is spoiled rotten.

As she was walking precious Beast walked out the clubhouse door and saw Linda. she didn't see him. He walked over to her and Precious started barking at him. He said, "Linda."

Linda stiffened her shoulders and slowly turned to look at him. She didn't say anything. Beast said. "Please, Linda can we talk?"

"No," she said picking up Precious and walking away. He watched her walk to the garage and walk around the side of it. He knew she lived above the garage now. He started to follow her when Hawk called him.

She is angry at me. She showed no emotions. It is as if she closed herself off. He would give her more time. But he doesn't think he can wait much longer. Linda's heart was hurting. She looked at Beast wanting to talk to him. To touch him but she can't.

She is scared he will cheat again. She just can't go through it again. She must keep the wall up and around her heart. She walked into her apartment shut and locked the door. she placed Precious on the floor and then walked to her kitchen got herself a cup of coffee and walked into the living room turning on the TV to watch Law and Order. She lay on the couch after shutting the lights off. Precious jumped on the couch and lay at her feet.
