Don't get close to me (Linda and Beast) novel Chapter 16

Linda sat on her couch fighting the tears. She still loved Beast but she could not get over his cheating. There was a knock on her door and she heard Mary Ann asking to come in. As Linda opened the door Mary Ann saw her sister crying. She pulled her into her arms.

"You saw Beast, didn't you?"

Linda crying shook her head yes. "I love him Mary Ann but I can't let my heart care. I know he doesn't love me but I can't help how I feel."

Mary Ann said. "You do know that Hawk and Animal want to be with you?"

Mary Ann understood how Linda was feeling. She felt the same way about Psycho when she thought he didn't want her.

"Linda, it has been a year and you still cry when you see Beast. I wanted to run to him and throw my arms around him but I couldn't. He just looks at me and it makes me feel like I am not good enough for him, or that I am not the type of woman he wants to be with."

"Mary Ann, what am I going to do," Linda asked?

"I don't know," Mary Ann said.

"I know that he has been with other women after all no man can not have slept with a woman after a year."

" Linda, you can't think that way. Beast stood outside under a tree smoking and since Linda's window was opened he heard everything she said."

"Fuck he thought. Even if she did love him she wouldn't trust him. Especially if she found out just how many whores he had sex with over the year. Linda looked at Mary Ann and said.

"I love you, Psycho' and, the club members and being here."

"But, I think I need to leave. Leave town and move somewhere else. Somewhere I will never see Beast even by accident."

"Somewhere that I can move on. Maybe meet someone new and build a relationship with a new man."

Mary Ann said. "Linda, you have to do what you think would be best for you."

"I would miss you and so would everyone else. Think about maybe dating Animal and Hawk and see if you could care for one of them first."

"I will think about it," Linda said.

Mary Ann said.

"The Wind Rider MC is coming tomorrow so be aware of the new men around the compound."

"Thanks," she said.

Linda was off work for a week. She woke up hearing motorcycles pulling into the compound. Snake, Smash, and Carbarator got off their cycles and walked into the clubhouse. They were greeted by Knuckles, Psycho, and Mary Ann. As they sat at the table talking Beast was at the bar.

The door opened and Linda walked in. Snake, Smash, and Carbarator looked from Mary Ann to Linda. They choked on their drinks. Psycho stood up and walked to Linda. They watched as Psycho gave a dirty look to Beast and pulled Linda close to his side walking her to the table. The three newcomers noticed that Linda had been crying.

Knuckles called a prospect over and told him to bring Linda coffee and breakfast. He walked away and the three men watched as Psycho gently helped the girl sit down. They didn't ask questions but they noticed how everyone in the club appeared to want to protect the girl.

"You belong here. We will continue to take care of you and keep you safe."

She smiled at Knuckles and said. "I know you all care."

She leaned her head against the wall and stared at the ceiling. Snake felt something pull in his heart. He thought she was beautiful and needed to have someone make her see that. He wanted to be the one who taught her to trust again. He needed to know what happened between her and Beast. Smash thought of his sister. she was just like this girl. He noticed the cut marks on her wrists. She tried to kill herself over that man they said.

"What the hell did he do to her?"

Just then the door opened and this little ball of fur ran across the room and jumped onto the girl's lap. She looked down smiling and then the ball of fur ran and jumped onto Psycho and he yelled. "get this rat off me."

The girl laughed. A real laugh lit up her face. Snake was smitten right there. She had a beautiful smile and looked really happy right now. She grabbed the little dog from Psycho and said.

"But Psycho she likes you."

Psych grunted and said. "I don't like dogs."

"Shit, the big bad Snake who swore never to fall for a woman has fallen."

Snake looked at him and growled. "Shut the fuck up."
