Don't get close to me (Linda and Beast) novel Chapter 23

We watched Animal close. A prospect just reported that Animal is on the phone outside. We walked over to the window closest to him and opened it. We could hear his conversation.

"We have a problem, Crow," he said to the VP of the Iron Eagle MC.

"What kind of a problem?"

We heard Animal say, "Eagle refuses to help take Linda."

"What the hell do you mean it is my problem?"

" She doesn't trust me as much as she trusts Eagle. Without him, she won't leave the club."

" And it will take two of us at least to get her away from her to bring her to you. Why do you want her anyway?"

" Why does Temper want her?"

" Why does Temper want her? "How has he even met her?"

" Are you saying that you not only saw Linda but her sister at the bar where they beat the shit out that man?"

"How?"

"Tell me this Crow, how can Temper know which sister he thinks he is in love with?"

"You do know that even though Beast is being made to leave if you try to hurt Linda he will still come after you and kill you."

"He still loves her. Fuck, I don't care. It's doesn't matter that Temper is in love with her."

"I just found out that Temper is in love with her. At least that is what his VP, Crow said. I don't know if I believe him. "

"I still don't understand why you agreed to do this."

"She is innocent in all of this. She of everyone has suffered enough and you want to add to her suffering. I just don't understand how you of all people could do this Animal."

"Dad would not even agree to it. He would be so disappointed in what you are doing. He told you that eventually, he would die because of his chosen lifestyle. He taught us what it was to live the biker life."

"We better expect to die and a bad way. You need to get your priorities right before you do something stupid."

"If I were you I would go and talk to Snake. We all grew up together and now you want to turn on him. I pray you do the right thing."

I turned and walked out of his door shutting it behind me.
