Dumped My Cheating Ex. Now I'm Sleeping Next to a Billionaire CEO novel Chapter 251

Her head felt like it was buzzing, and her cheeks were so red she could practically feel the heat radiating off them.

“Let’s… let’s just go back, okay?”

She grabbed James’s hand, ready to bolt for the door. But James pulled her back, spinning her around so fast it made her dizzy. He leaned down, his lips almost brushing her ear, his voice low and rough.

“If Mr. Nelson went to all this trouble, it’d be rude not to stay.”

“And honestly? I kind of like this place.”

Before she could protest, he was already leading her toward the bedroom.

Emmy’s heart was pounding so hard she thought it might burst. “Kind of nice” didn’t even begin to cover it—this suite was straight out of a bachelor’s wildest dreams.

And then the bedroom door opened—

She whipped her head away, feeling like her eyes had just been burned.

There was a massive waterbed covered in red rose petals shaped into two interlocked hearts. On a small table, there were silk blindfolds, a teasing feather, and several mysterious bottles of oil that Emmy couldn’t even identify. Even the nightstand had two swan figurines, their necks entwined in a way that felt way too intimate.

“James!” Emmy’s panic spiked. She grabbed his arm tight. “I think Mr. Nelson’s trying a little too hard to say thank you. This is just… way too much. Let’s get out of here, please!”

James glanced down at her, a bit amused.

His brother definitely had something up his sleeve. He wanted James to have a kid as soon as possible—which probably explained a suite like this. Honestly, James wouldn’t be surprised if his brother had even cleared out all the condoms.

But since they were already here…

James swallowed hard, then scooped her up. She let out a startled yelp as he tossed her onto the soft waterbed.

He leaned over her, his body burning hot even through their clothes, his voice low and rough.

“You’re overthinking it. I checked—Mr. Nelson is just a generous guy. Maybe he really is just grateful.”

“Besides, it’d be a shame to waste a room this… creative.”

Emmy was on high alert now.

She knew exactly what he was getting at. Her face got even hotter as she pushed against his chest.

“But you’re still hurt!”

“I’m almost better,” he said, leaning down so his breath tickled her neck, his voice all dark and teasing. “If you don’t believe me… you could check for yourself.”

Check? How?

Inside, Emmy leaned against the door, her heart thumping wildly. She couldn’t tell if it was the spicy scent in the air or all those crazy things she’d just seen, but her whole body felt hot and out of control.

She sat on the toilet, trying to catch her breath—when suddenly she felt a warm rush.

She looked down and saw bright red in the bowl.

For a moment, she didn’t know if she was supposed to be relieved or disappointed.

In the end, she just let out a long, heavy sigh.

Seriously, her period had never picked a better time.

She cleaned up and lined her underwear with toilet paper, then cracked the door open a sliver.

“James, can you hand me my purse?”

He didn’t even ask questions—just handed it through.

Thank god she’d thought ahead and packed pads.

When she finally got herself together and stepped out, the scene waiting for her made her gasp all over again.
