Escape from Mr. Whitman (Emma and Theodore) novel Chapter 512

He wasn't calling her Emma or baby anymore. The gentle, almost shy persona he always wore had vanished, revealing something obsessive and possessive underneath.

Emma stared at him in horror, completely stunned, unable to form a rebuttal.

Allen ushered her inside the house and stood guard at the door, watching Sebastian with a hawk-like intensity.

Sebastian stomped on the roses and the lights, crushing the flowers into a pulpy mess and smashing the lamps until not a single one remained lit. Only then did he storm back to his own house.

Genevieve, who had witnessed the entire scene from inside, looked at him with a mixture of fear and confusion. "Seb, you're terrifying!"

Sebastian glanced at his sister, then said suddenly, "Gene, I need you to do me a favor."

The next day, Emma went about her routine as usual, starting with her Meridian Therapy at the Wellness Center.

But as she looked at Dr. Crimson, Sebastian's words echoed in her mind: *I found the doctor! I was there with you through your recovery! I revised your physical therapy plan over and over again! After everything I've done for you…*

As she was on one of the rehabilitation machines, her mind flashing with images of Sebastian by her side during her recovery, his voice repeating *I did so much for you…*, she suddenly lost her balance and fell.

She couldn't make it to rehearsal that afternoon. Allen took her to the General Hospital.

X-rays and an examination revealed no broken bones, but the doctor advised at least a week of rest with no strenuous activity.

Emma sent a message to the troupe's group chat, informing them she would be on bed rest.
