Those three words-“imposter“-stabbed into Amanda’s ears and straight into her heart like a cluster of needles, leaving her mind reeling and her chest tight with pain.
Her complexion went sharply pale, every inch of her trembling with fury. “You… You dare?”
Sienna arched a brow, smirking. “Why not?”
“So what if I’m fake?” Amanda snapped, her composure finally cracking as she stared down Sienna’s taunting grin. “Even if I am, I’m still worth a hundred times more than you! I’m a hundred times better!
“I aced all my classes and got into Disey University, the top school in all of Aurathen! Soon, I’ll be Professor Sharp’s personal student!
“My designs have been featured in top–tier magazines! I’ve won more piano awards than I can count! The trophies I’ve racked up could fill an entire room!
“And you? You’re just some backwards girl brought up in the sticks, couldn’t even graduate high school! What do you know, anyway? Plowing fields? Feeding pigs with grass?
“Besides using your looks to hook men, do you know how to do anything else?
“Do you even get what real art is? Or how you’re supposed to act around the elite?” Amanda sneered.
“Let me just tell you–even if you strut into Sophie’s coming–of–age party tomorrow in that designer dress Mason gave you, you can’t cover up those backwater roots! A hick is still a hick, and at the dinner tomorrow, I’ll make you the laughingstock of everyone there!”
Amanda was ranting and raving, bragging about every bit of her so–called success like she was desperate for someone to admire her.
She was dead set on smacking Sienna down with all her accomplishments, making sure Sienna saw just how huge the gap between them truly was.
It felt like the only way she could claw back even a scrap of self–respect in front of Sienna.
Yet Sienna just sat there, her eyes drooping in lazy disinterest, her whole face radiating boredom–like Amanda’s tirade wasn’t even worth her attention.
Every so often, she’d lazily sweep her gaze over Amanda’s hysterics, looking utterly unimpressed.
She was clearly bored to death, like she seriously couldn’t be bothered.
That lofty, couldn’t–care–less attitude just made Amanda feel even more frustrated and helpless.
‘How come Sienna isn’t jealous of me? Not even a little envious? She’s just a bumpkin from some backwater village!‘ Amanda couldn’t wrap her head around it, fuming inside.
‘I’m the one who’s incredible here! All these highlights, all this glory is mine! I could crush Sienna without

breaking a sweat–she wouldn’t even know what hit her!‘ Amanda thought.

Blinded by fury, Amanda, trembling all over, suddenly grabbed a crystal vase from the display table and, without a second thought, hurled it straight at Sienna.
But just as Amanda’s fingers brushed the vase, Sienna’s hand clamped tightly around her wrist.
Amanda froze, stunned–her hand stopped dead, powerless, as Sienna seized control.
Before she could even register what was happening, the vase was already out of her grasp and resting in Sienna’s hand.
Sienna set the vase down with cold indifference, her tone crisp. “You think you can smash a vase my mom handpicked just for me?”
The instant her voice fell, it was like a deathly chill seeped out from the cracks of hell itself, chilling the very
air.
Sienna’s other hand suddenly snatched Amanda’s hair and gave it a sharp, merciless jerk.
Amanda howled in pain, her cries raw and desperate.
A loud smack rang out.
Twisting her wrist, Sienna dragged Amanda by the hair–then, with cold dominance, she stomped Amanda to the floor, boot pressing her down like she owned her.
“You… you bitch! How dare you treat me like this! I’ll tell Grandpa, Mom, Dad, and Sophie–let them see the real you!” Amanda sobbed, tears gushing down her cheeks, her face contorted in agony.
Sienna towered over her, pressing her boot down on Amanda’s head, calmly grinding the sole against her swollen, red cheek like it was nothing.
“You dare?” Sienna chuckled, not the least bit bothered. “Go ahead, snitch on me. Let’s see if they’ll believe you… or me.”
The humiliation was so extreme that Amanda’s eyes nearly popped out of her head, her face twisted in a mix of rage and shame.
She struggled desperately, trying everything she could, but she just couldn’t break free.
She never expected Sienna would actually attack her like this–especially right here, under their own roof!
Sienna looked totally unfazed, not worrying in the slightest about the family catching her; she acted like no one and nothing could stop her.
Amanda was furious, her body aching all over from the pain.
‘Damn it, she’s right. Amanda thought bitterly.
‘Even after getting smacked around, there’s no way I’d let anyone in the family know,’ Amanda told herself.

‘Otherwise, they’d find out I snuck into Sienna’s room. If Sienna’s nearby and she pipes up… Pretty sure everyone would take her word over mine, Amanda fumed.
“Everyone would totally think I was trying to swipe the gift Mason gave Sienna! Amanda fumed internally.
How am I supposed to explain myself then? There’s no way out of this!‘ she panicked, feeling trapped.
Seriously, it’s like the whole Cooper family’s been put under a spell–every last one of them is hopelessly biased towards Sienna, Amanda grumbled in her mind.
Not a single person would buy my story. I’m totally screwed, she realized bitterly.
No wonder Sienna acts so damn fearless–she knows she can do whatever she wants and nobody’s gonna call her out!‘ Amanda thought, resentment bubbling up.
You ever wonder why I let you stick around the Cooper family?” Sienna drawled, her voice thick with sneering contempt as she leaned in, eyes glinting with cold superiority.
She pressed her weight down even harder on Amanda’s head.
Amanda felt like her skull was about to crack open, the unbearable agony making her want to scream her lungs out.
She shrieked in agony, the scream ripping through the room.
Sienna’s cold, mocking voice sounded overhead. “The walls here are pretty thick, but if someone ends up hearing all your screaming and walks in… How do you think I’d explain this? Want to see what happens?”
Amanda froze mid–struggle; for a split second, hope flared in her heart.
Sienna caught onto her thoughts instantly, grinning wickedly. “Oh? You think if you cry loud enough, the family will come running–just in time to see me beating you up for real?”
Amanda tensed up, twisting her head to glare at Sienna.
Sienna let out a mocking chuckle. “Go ahead, scream all you want. Ever since my laptop disappeared, I’ve had cameras set up in here. So if you drag the family in, I’ll just play them the footage of you swiping my laptop last time–and let everyone see what you really did.”
Amanda froze, her struggling coming to an abrupt halt.
Her screams died in her throat, cut off instantly.
Her eyes went wide, bloodshot with shock and rage. “You…”
Wait–Sienna actually put cameras in here? Was she seriously watching me this whole time? Did she do all that just to catch me? Is this all about me?‘ Amanda’s heart hammered in her chest, her mind spinning with paranoid dread.
If the Cooper family saw hard evidence–caught on camera–of her sneaking off with Sienna’s laptop…

If they saw her wild–eyed freak–out, her face all twisted up, screaming, acting like a raving maniac, and taunting Sienna first like it was some soap opera meltdown….
And if everyone saw that she was actually the one who threw the very first punch–she’d be toast.
All those years she spent pretending to be oh–so–sweet and gentle… How fake would that look on replay?
Her picture–perfect “elite heiress” reputation, just a polished mask she fought so hard to maintain…
My whole perfect reputation would go up in flames–just like that!
“To me, you’re just the pampered pet that Mom and Dad keep around the house,” Sienna said, her tone cool and lazy.
Your only job as their little pet is to do whatever you can to keep your masters happy–so they’ll toss you scraps when you beg for them.”
She lightly tapped Amanda’s contorted face with her shoe. “If you want to be a pet, you’d better learn how to act like one.”
