Farewell to Love: The CEO's Desperate Chase novel Chapter 154

In the minimalist apartment, Emilia turned to Christian. "I've got a few things here. Want to come over and take a look?"

"Sure! Send me the address—I'll be right there," Christian replied.

After hanging up, Emilia glanced around at the others. She offered a small smile. "The third round of Voice of the Divine is in two days. We should start preparing. Christian will be joining us soon, so let's discuss the details when he arrives."

Her gaze landed on Seven and Joyce.

Right now, Emilia's priority was to secure her career, earn enough money, and get ready for the day when she and Tyler would reclaim the Dennis family's old business.

Winning Voice of the Divine would mean massive exposure and the quickest path to commercial success.

But as long as Vivienne kept using her influence to sabotage their audio and video quality, they'd be at a huge disadvantage in the audience vote. So—

"This time, we're going to turn things around!"

"Absolutely!" Seven and Joyce chimed in together.

They had been waiting for this moment.

Emilia glanced again at the man in thick black-rimmed glasses—the owner of the apartment.

He gave a nonchalant nod. "Use the living room and the other rooms as you need. Just don't go snooping around in this one."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

Joyce grinned. "Jayden, you haven't had breakfast yet, have you? I've arranged for breakfast to be delivered. Want me to have yours sent to your room?"

Jayden glanced at Joyce. That usual air of distance about him softened, if only a little.

"Alright," he replied.

Emilia looked from Joyce to Jayden, but said nothing. She left the room with the other two.

As everyone ate breakfast and waited for Christian to arrive and discuss their plan, a trending topic exploded online—

#Tyler'sLipsAreBruised#

The attached photo showed Tyler, sharply dressed in a suit, entering the Erickson headquarters.

Vivienne saw the gossip, too.

She was so furious her teeth nearly cracked.

That bite wasn't hers. When Tyler visited last night, his lips were perfectly fine. That meant it must have happened this morning!

So—what exactly did they do this morning?

"Miss Vivienne, there are a lot of people outside now." Her caregiver sounded anxious.

Vivienne shot a venomous glare toward the window.

She knew she'd have to give the press some kind of answer—but she couldn't let anyone find out that the bite had come from Emilia.

After all, Tyler and Emilia were still in the cooling-off period before their divorce was finalized. Legally, they were still married. If she played up the rumors, everyone would just assume Tyler was in love with her, Vivienne—the classic "the one who isn't loved is the third wheel."

But if the truth came out—that Tyler and Emilia were still tangled up together—then Vivienne would be painted as the "other woman," and suddenly, public opinion would be against her.
