Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 2511

“I love you.” Jason pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead and drew her into his arms. “I’ll love you forever.”

...

That night, Sophia nestled quietly in his embrace for once, not pulling away, not complaining that it felt too confining.

She slept deeply, sweetly, utterly at peace.

It was Jason who woke several times in the night, unable to resist kissing her, aching for more, but not willing to disturb her dreams.

When Sophia woke, dawn was just breaking. She burrowed deeper into his arms, breathing in that warm, reassuring scent of him. Everything felt so right.

She pressed closer to his chest. “Is it morning already?”

Jason’s voice was low and husky, still thick with sleep. “We don’t have to go to work. Stay in bed with me a little longer.”

A few moments later, Sophia lifted her head, eyes half open. “Are you flying home today?”

Jason traced her chin with his fingers, savoring the soft feel of her skin. “I was planning to, but since you’re here, I want to stay a couple more days.”

Sophia shook her head. “I have to get back to work. I only took two days off.”

Jason couldn’t help but laugh. “Lucky for you, your boss is right here. I can approve as many days as you want.”

Sophia grinned, her eyes crinkling. “No, I’m a dedicated employee.”

He pulled her close. “Then sleep a bit longer. We’ll go home when you’re rested.”

“Okay.” Sophia’s reply was muffled as she rested her head on his arm and drifted off again.

When she finally woke up, Sophia called Estelle to let her know she was safe with Jason—no need to worry.

Their flight that morning landed in J City just before noon.

They grabbed a quick lunch at a café downstairs. As soon as Sophia got home, she flopped onto the bed. “Mr. Gilder, I’d like one more day off. I’ll be at work tomorrow, I promise. Okay?”
