Goodbye Saintess (by Edelweiss W.S.) novel Chapter 127

**The Unseen Kingdom That Followed Me Into Every Dream by Alyndra Meron Valeen 127**

“I don’t, actually,” I admitted, a hint of nostalgia creeping into my voice. “But I used to be a firefighter. Once, I saved a woman who truly understood the formula. She was the one who taught it to me.” As I spoke, I felt the weight of those memories wash over me, the adrenaline of the rescue still vivid in my mind. “It worked wonders for me, though I can’t guarantee its effectiveness for you.”

With a swift motion, I retrieved a notepad and pen from my pocket, my fingers moving almost instinctively as I jotted down the formula from memory. Each stroke of the pen felt like a bridge connecting the past to the present.

Frank’s face lit up with a broad smile as he accepted the notepad, tucking it into his pocket with a flourish. “Thank you, Mr. Grimwald! You’re far too kind,” he replied, his enthusiasm palpable.

“Think nothing of it. Let’s move on,” I said, eager to see what else this building had to offer.

As we ascended to the highest floor, the atmosphere shifted. The elevator doors opened to reveal a level that was already furnished in a sleek, minimalist style—an aesthetic that resonated deeply with my own tastes. Frank began to elaborate on the design choices, weaving in concepts of color theory, elements of pop psychology, and even a few of the unwritten superstitions that seemed to govern the property business. His passion for the subject was infectious.

“This is the crown suite of the building, Mr. Grimwald,” Frank announced as he gestured toward the expansive office space. “The CEO’s office is designed specifically to showcase the most breathtaking night view of Astergrad!” He ushered me inside, and I stepped toward the window, my breath catching in my throat.

He was right—the view was nothing short of spectacular. The city sprawled out beneath me, twinkling like a sea of stars against the dark canvas of night.

“What do you think, Mr. Grimwald?” Frank asked, his eagerness evident.

I nodded, my mind already racing ahead, ready to sign the lease. “How much is the lease?” I inquired, my thoughts focused on the next steps.

“The lease?” Frank’s expression shifted to one of surprise. “No, sir. This floor has already been purchased by Mr. Goldman. You’re the owner now.”

“Hmm! Just a bit of curiosity,” Frank said, wearing a polite smile. But within him, questions churned. Who else could possibly command so much of Baron’s favor if not the long-rumored lost heir of Enbarr? Yet here was this young man, claiming to have never set foot there. What was the truth behind this enigma?

“If you have no further questions, I’ll take my leave. May your business prosper!” Frank declared, his tone brightening as he prepared to exit.

No sooner had he departed than my phone buzzed to life, startling me from my thoughts. It was Lucas on the line. He informed me that he had arrived with my future employees and the necessary legal documents, requesting that I open the door for them.

His efficiency caught me off guard, a pleasant surprise amidst the whirlwind of my day.

I stepped out of my office, and there they were—a small crowd waiting expectantly. Lucas stood at the front, his demeanor as composed as ever, ready to usher in the next chapter of my journey.
