Goodbye Saintess (by Edelweiss W.S.) novel Chapter 133

**The Unseen Kingdom That Followed Me Into Every Dream**
by Alyndra Meron Valeen

**Chapter 131**

I was left reeling, my mind racing to catch up with the revelation that had just unfolded before me. It suddenly clicked—no wonder I had never encountered the Astregrad Four before. They were so exclusive, so cloistered in their elite world, that their very existence had been a well-guarded secret, hidden from the likes of me until this very moment.

Terry Amos had set his sights on one of our own, and in a moment of instinctive defiance, I had bloodied his nose. The taste of iron lingered in the air, a vivid reminder of the confrontation that had just transpired.

With the vast resources of a family like the Amoses backing him, it wouldn’t take long for them to uncover the operations of our fledgling company. The thought sent a shiver down my spine. We could be crushed financially before we even took our first real steps into the world of business.

And the stakes were high. If they succeeded in their pursuit, Jeanine and I would find ourselves facing even graver dangers than we already were.

I inhaled sharply, the air filling my lungs with determination. “We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it,” I declared firmly, my voice steady despite the turmoil within. “We may want to avoid trouble, but that doesn’t mean we’ll let it tyrannize us. I don’t care if he’s the heir to some powerful family. If the Devil himself harasses one of my people, I’ll sock him in the eyes too!”

I had drawn my line in the sand. Today would be the day I ended this feud with Terry. If we allowed this animosity to fester and follow us like a dark shadow, it would only embolden them, driving them to hunt us down until we were nothing but ghosts. Retreat was not an option; we had to confront this head-on, no matter the cost.

Even if the Amos family managed to obliterate my company today, they would never break my spirit. I would rise again, stronger and more determined, and in five years or less, I would return to crush them under my boot for their insolence.

Sebastian remained oblivious to the admiration that radiated from his employees. They were moved by his unwavering decision, a spark of hope igniting within them. None had ever worked for someone who genuinely cared for their well-being, someone who would defend them simply because they were part of his team. Other employers had only been interested in profit and personal gain; even Baron Inc. would likely consider compromising with Terry just to protect their bottom line.

Sebastian had only just embarked on his entrepreneurial journey, yet he refused to let that deter him from standing up for his people.

“Exactly! We are all here for you! Who’s scared of that asshole?!” a voice rang out from the back, rallying the others.

“We’ve got the numbers on our side! Maybe they’ll be the ones crawling out of here when this is over!” another chimed in, the atmosphere shifting with newfound energy.

“You heard the boss, boys! Me, personally? I’ve been hating on the 1% and the ultra-rich for a long time!” one of the men declared, his voice rising in fervor.

Fueled by liquor and my passionate stance, the men leaped to their feet, their faces flushed with adrenaline. They raised their bottles like swords, ready to defend what was rightfully theirs.

The tide had turned, and together, we would face whatever came next.
