Goodbye Saintess (by Edelweiss W.S.) novel Chapter 207

**The Unseen Kingdom That Followed Me Into Every Dream by Alyndra Meron Valeen**
**Chapter 207**

Despite the rising tide of tension swirling around me, I stood resolute, my determination unwavering. The air crackled with an electric charge, but I refused to yield.

“Did you hear what I said? Or have you suddenly decided to become mute?” Jack’s voice dripped with disdain, his faux superiority bubbling back to the surface like a noxious gas.

“Look at you, you pathetic, cringeworthy poser! Can’t you grasp the reality? You’re utterly insignificant to us! Just a worm squirming beneath my boot! And let’s not overlook the debts you owe us. You slapped me. You struck my mother not once, but three times! You need to face the consequences of your actions!” I spat, my voice rising with each word, fueled by a righteous fury.

With a swift motion, I smirked and delivered another sharp slap across his face.

Jack’s expression froze, a mixture of shock and disbelief washing over him. The stunned silence enveloped the room, everyone else mirroring his astonishment.

“The… what?!” he exclaimed, his voice a mixture of incredulity and outrage. “Did you actually just slap me again?!”

“Oh, I did indeed. In fact, I could very well do it again. Slapping a pathetic little coward like you is as easy as breathing—hardly a challenge!” I replied, a mischievous grin spreading across my face. I dragged a chair closer and perched upon it with an air of authority, propping my feet on another chair as I surveyed the gathered faces, amusement dancing in my eyes.

“Listen closely, all of you. The sole reason I even deign to enter this wretched place is to make one thing abundantly clear: from this moment forward, not a single soul in this family has the right to coerce Claire into doing anything against her will. What kind of family uses an elderly woman’s birthday as a pretext to exploit their daughter for gain?!”

I gestured toward Victor, his face a tempest of anger, and chuckled derisively. “And this is the best you could muster for her? This worthless piece of trash? You’re all beyond redemption.”

“Here’s the deal. If any of you feel your precious feelings have been hurt, come face me. I promise none of you will leave this room upright or with any dignity intact!”
