Chapter 196 The Real Name
Those who had canceled their orders earlier due to the online backlash were now filled with regret. They tried to ask the brand to reverse their cancellations, but the refunds had been processed. It was too late for second thoughts.
“Mr. Snow, Cosmos Group and LOVELESS have always been strong partners. I believe now is the perfect time to deepen our cooperation. With Mirabelle personally involved, our collaboration will reach a new level,” Landon said. He snapped his fingers lightly, and Darin promptly presented a business proposal.
It was a strategic partnership agreement between Cosmos Group and LOVELESS. The plan was to grow together, with profits split right down the middle. Their greatest strengths would be fully integrated–no separation, just pure mutual benefit.
This kind of deal was simply the best offer anyone could hope for. The collaborative benefits between Cosmos Group and LOVELESS would be maximized. No third party could possibly offer better terms.
Leo finished reading and raised an eyebrow. “These terms seem okay.”
Landon replied, “Mr. Snow, this represents Cosmos’s utmost sincerity. If you find it okay, we can sign right now and announce the partnership publicly.”
Leo arched an eyebrow and gently placed the agreement in front of Chloe. “I am merely the acting CEO. The final decision rests with our founder.”
Landon glanced at Chloe, his smile open and genuine.
Chloe scanned the document quickly and gave a soft sigh. “Yes, the sincerity is certainly there.”
“Chloe, we’ve supported you from the very beginning–regardless of your identity. For that reason alone, if LOVELESS needs a deep strategic partner, it must be Cosmos.”
A faint smile touched Chloe’s lips. “A fair point. Let’s sign.”
“Excellent.” Landon gestured, and Darin quickly produced three copies of the agreement. Each party would keep one, with the third going to the legal authorities for filing.
Landon pulled out a chair and sat opposite Chloe. He picked up his pen, ready to sign, but noticed Chloe hadn’t even reached for hers.
“Is there a problem?” he asked.
Chloe looked back at him with a calm smile. “If I am signing in person as the owner of LOVELESS, shouldn’t the true owner of Cosmos also be present to sign? That would show more honesty.”
As she spoke, her gaze shifted toward Eugene.
The sudden shift caught both Landon and Bruce off guard. Bruce’s entire body tensed, and he almost made
a move.
Landon looked at Chloe and let out an awkward laugh.
“Chloe, I am the head of Cosmos. Everyone knows that. Are you saying you don’t accept my authority?”

Landon adopted a helpless expression, subuy glancing toward Eugene.
“It seems your sincerity only goes so far.” Chloe remarked. The rhythmic tapping of her fingers on the table ceased. She adjusted her posture, preparing to rise.
Seeing this, Leo turned, ready to leave with her.
“Wait.” Landon raised both hands in a placating gesture. “How can you say we’re not being sincere? We’ve been nothing but totally sincere.”
Chloe simply raised her eyebrows.
“Ahem…” Landon cleared his throat, then gestured formally toward Eugene. “Allow me to introduce you properly. This is Eugene, the CEO of Cosmos Group.”
Hearing the title “CEO of Cosmos Group,” Leo frowned.
“I’m fairly certain that isn’t the actual CEO’s registered name.”
“My apologies. Mr. Rosewood is also known by another, more widely recognized name… Eric Meader.” Landon smiled and enunciated the name slowly and clearly.
The moment the name ‘Eric‘ was spoken, Robert, who had been sucking on his lollipop, froze with his mouth open.
