Jared
He stood in Wynta’s bedroom and took a few deep calming breaths, because he needed to, before he found himself walking back in the bathroom and picked Wynta up to take her all hard and hungry, and he was damned hard right this minute.
He wanted nothing more than to possess that body of hers completely, to bury himself inside of her and give her all of himself with all he had. To hear her cry out for him as he satisfied all of her wants and needs as well as his own.
Creed chortled inside his mind, ‘You’re going to have to sort yourself out.’
‘Shut it.’ he retorted to his own wolf, who just rolled around inside his mind, because even as he told his wolf where to go, he knew his wolf was right. It wasn’t something he had to do often at all; he would usually just sate his needs in the woman he wanted.
But he couldn’t with Wynta. He needed other things from her first, and he knew himself well enough to know the minute she allowed herself to be initiated, he was going to have her, no holds bar. He was likely to pick her up and take her up against the nearest wall, or the closest hard flat surface.
It seems that those simply spoken words from her about what she would like to eat and wanted him to order, for her. They had made him happy, the way she’d spoken to him had turned him on, and in an instant; there wasn’t even anything sexy about the words she’d spoken. It was how she’d said them, and he knew it, it was as though she was his woman, his girlfriend, and he’d more than liked it.
‘Dad’s going to love it.‘ Creed snorted at him, fully amused. ‘I’m gonna tell him.’ His own wolf taunted him as Jared finally stepped away from the bathroom door to grab his pants off the floor and yank them on, then grabbed his shirt, shoving his arms into the sleeves there was no doing it up she’d ripped half the buttons off in her game of being dominant with him.
He pulled his phone from his pocket as he picked up and shoved his socks into his shoes and tucked them under one arm. He didn’t bother putting them on, she might just come out of that bathroom before he was gone, and he might cave into his own desire and have her completely.
‘Do it.‘ Creed taunted him. ‘I’ll give you everything to please her.‘
‘Stop it.’ he warned his beast.
He was scrolling through his phone looking for the number for the Chinese place he would normally order from, as he walked from her apartment, and he called it and ordered food, two different meals to be delivered to two different apartments. If he stayed in her apartment any longer, they’d be having s*x this evening, and he knew it.
The woman was driving him crazy, it seemed, he shook his head as he rode the elevator up to the top floor, ‘It’s love.‘ Creed chortled, ‘You love her, and you don’t even know if she’s your Mate.’
‘Shut it Creed,‘ he snapped at his wolf.
You want her,‘ his wolf snorted, ‘Go back and have her, I’ll watch. I like watching.’
‘f**k off you dirty old wolf.‘ Jared shot at his own beast, who was now just rolling around inside his mind, more than amused it seemed.
He banged into his penthouse, annoyed at his own beast and stopped dead at the sight of his entire unit in here, they all turned and looked at him, looked over him and his ripped shirt, shoes in hand, knowing he still smelled strongly of Wynta, it had been barely 10 minutes since he’d stopped touching the woman.
They all clearly knew what he’d been up to, he could see all of their expressions change from shock at his seemingly angry arrival to amusement, at him being angry while he looked and smelled like he did. It probably gave off the impression that he was unhappy about not getting what he wanted once more from Wynta,
When, in fact, it was that he was just annoyed with his own beast, tormenting him. Creed was suddenly a gale of laughter inside his mind, ‘busted old man.‘ Creed returned the jab at him.
“Now Jared, what on earth could make you so cranky, after the afternoon you’ve had?” Andy snorted.
“Shouldn’t you be all happy and sated?” Dwane smiled at him.
“I’m not mad,” he muttered and stalked past them only to hear them all laugh at his demeanor. It was clear he was annoyed, that banging of the door was all that took.
He stopped walking and looked at the three of them. “I’m not actually mad, annoyed at my own wolf is all.” he told them “I ordered Chinese for dinner, but it’s not going to be enough to feed the three of you as well. You’d best place an order of your own,” he told them “I’m going to shower.”
“You need it, smell heavily like Wynta,” Emerson called out, fully amused.
Just what he bloody needed, a tormentative unit to match his own beast. He stripped off and showered, any thoughts of sorting himself out were gone. With his unit in the apartment, hewouldn’t do it. ‘They won’t care, do it, I give you good image of her.’ Creed chortled.
‘Don’t you dare, just stop it.‘ Jared muttered, and he stood under the steady stream of hot water and ran his hands through his hair. ‘Please leave it.‘ He finally sighed to his wolf. He didn’t even know if she was his Mate, and if she wasn’t, he couldn’t go letting himself get attached to her, it wouldn’t be right.
Not fair to Wynta, and likely only hurt himself and, from what he was getting from his own beast, Creed as well, he needed to settle himself, and properly. Creed actually left it alone and settled inside his mind at Jared’s thoughts. Although there was still amusement inside his beast, he stopped taunting his own human.
Jared pulled on jeans and a tee–shirt and walked out of his bedroom still drying his hair with a towel, and his unit were all lounging about in his living area. All eyes turned on him and Dwane smiled at him, “All afternoon, boss. Did you get her to agree to initiation or just throw it out the window and enjoy yourself?”
“The latter,” he stated, admitting the truth, and sank down himself. He picked up the whiskey they’d set on the coffee table for him, and sipped it; they all had a drink in their hands. Anything happen today that I should know about?” he asked.
“Hmm, well, none of us would bother you, knowing what you were doing today.” Andy chuckled, “Might get our asses handed to us for interrupting that.”
Jared raised an eyebrow at them, he wouldn’t do that, and they all knew it. Would likely have just paused in what he was doing, and answered them, and gone right back to devouring Wynta the moment the mind–link was over, if it was nothing they couldn’t handle without him.
“What did I miss?” he asked once more.
“No. I thought it was best to speak with her in person.” Dwane muttered.
“Did you scent her out on the last full moon, and just not tell anyone? We all stood on my balcony and breathed in on the last full moon?” Jared asked him directly.
“No. She doesn’t live locally either, in an apartment building across the bay, down near Haywood, it’s over 20 miles, off pack space, I can only scent like 9 miles outside the pack, so I wouldn’t get it from here, too far without pack lands for me to scent her out.”
“Perhaps this full moon you should ask the girl out,” Jared stated.
“Gotta go and clear things up first. How do I explain not only my parents wanting to have a meal with her? But all the CEOs of the company, I don’t even know if she’s ever had any kind of contact with them over the time she’s worked at the company.” Dwane shook his head.
“Hmm, did you ask your dad that?” Jared asked.
“I didn’t, we kind of… got into a yelling match about it.” Dwane muttered, downed the rest of his drink and got up and poured himself another. Jared sat and watched him.
“It was an interesting argument,” Andy stated. “He tried to punch his dad.”
Jared raised an eyebrow at his Gamma and then looked at Emerson, who nodded in confirmation. Jared’s eyes moved to Dwane, and he sighed, “Sorry Dwane, I didn’t mean for any of that to happen. Just honestly thought they’d rib you about it is all.”
Dwane nodded. “I know you weren’t aiming to do any harm,” he stated and sank down with his bourbon. “I’ll likely put myself near her place come the full moon. She’s human, so she won’t scent me out like I will her.”
“Hmm, what if her windows are closed?” Jared asked.
“I’m still mulling it over to be honest,” Dwane sighed. “I have to talk to her in person about what my dad did. See how that goes down first. Go from there. She’s not texted me about it, not once all day.”
“How old is she?” Jared asked after a moment’s thought, “She lives with her parents? That’s odd for a fully grown woman.”
“Hmm, depends on the family I guess. But she’s 30.”
“Odd.” He mused as he recalled the chirping noise she’d made as she’d rubbed her face into Dwane’s chest. Though, as far as he knew, there were no otherworldly packs out here, or not in Haywood that he knew of.
