Cornelia's face flushed a deep red. "Winifred, you—you're shameless!"

A sycophant in the crowd chimed in, pointing a finger at Winifred. "Dr. Spencer, you're the one in the wrong here. It takes two to tango. If you hadn't seduced Cornelia's boyfriend, he wouldn't be chasing you, would he?"

"Exactly! The nerve of some people these days. Homewreckers are so brazen now. It's unbelievable."

Winifred looked at the person who spoke. "I am not a homewrecker. You weren't there, so don't jump to conclusions."

That person retorted, "Cornelia was there. If she says you're a homewrecker, then you are."

"That's right! Can someone with such poor morals even be a doctor? The hospital should fire her."

With others joining in to condemn Winifred, a smug smile played on Cornelia's lips, despite her disheveled state.

Stella mustered her courage. "You're all mistaken about Dr. Spencer. She has absolutely no interest in Cornelia's boyfriend."

Cornelia shot her a glare. "What do you know? Mind your own business!"

She turned back to Winifred. "Winifred, if you dare try to seduce my boyfriend again, don't blame me for making sure the entire hospital knows about it!"

As if it isn't already known by the entire hospital, Winifred thought.

In less than a day, this incident would be the talk of the hospital. Some people would undoubtedly add their own embellishments to the story.

Winifred's lips twitched into a faint, bitter smile. "Do whatever you want. My conscience is clear."

Cornelia glared at her one last time, huffed, and stormed away.

The cafeteria erupted in whispers, with people constantly glancing at Winifred.

Stella looked at her with concern. "Dr. Spencer…"
