“Future girlfriend? Future daughter-in-law?” Hogan was completely confused. “Monica, explain yourself. Is Yvan dating someone?”

Monica’s face bloomed into a wide smile. “Not yet. Yvan is pursuing her. Your old classmate’s daughter got jealous and slandered the girl, calling her a homewrecker. Yvan is furious and defending his lady. So, don’t you dare meddle.”

Hogan was both shocked and delighted, immediately forgetting all about Cornelia. “Who is this girl our son likes? Have you met her?”

“It’s not even close to being a sure thing yet. Your son hasn’t won her over,” Monica pursed her lips. “But, I’m planning to make an appointment with her in a couple of days to check her out. Are you interested?”
