“Alright,” Monica said, looking reluctant to leave.

She wanted to chat with Winifred a little longer and find out more about her, but she knew the doctor had other patients to see. She couldn’t just keep her talking.

As Monica and Hogan left the consultation room, Hogan asked, “Monica, are you really going to get an implant here?”

Monica shot him a look. “Yes. Is there a problem?”

“I thought we were just using this as an excuse to check out our son’s potential girlfriend. Do we even know if this Dr. Spencer is any good? She’s so young,” Hogan grumbled. “And this place is so crowded. You’ll have to wait in line. Can you handle that?”

“Why wouldn’t she be any good? Our son has excellent taste,” Monica retorted with a dismissive glance. “Don’t you worry. I already looked up our future daughter-in-law’s profile on Zion Medical Center's official website. Dr. Spencer has a master’s degree in dentistry from Riverside Medical University and did a six-month fellowship at Riverside Medical Center’s dental department under the famous Professor Oscar Sanders. Her skills are top-notch. As for waiting in line, I don’t mind. It’s been a while. Think of it as a novel experience.”

“Have it your way,” Hogan said with a sigh of resignation.

The two paid the fee and went to wait outside Room 201 for the X-ray.

Seeing Monica’s excited expression, Hogan couldn’t help but tease her. “We came all this way and didn’t even get to see her face. What’s there to be so happy about?”
