Lauren was holding some documents, ready to drop them off at Heidi's office. But since someone was inside, she waited by the door.

"You've been married for a while now. Why isn't there a baby bump yet?"

Lauren's tone carried that unmistakable edge of mockery as she continued, "You're not getting any younger, you know. You should hurry up."

Kate's smile faltered for just a second before she composed herself again. "We just got married. Sawyer wants to enjoy some time together first. We're not in a rush to have kids."

"Exactly," Gisselle said, folding her arms. "Rich people rarely have kids that early. If you rush into it before your relationship really settles, it's easy to end up divorced. The adults can move on, but it's always the kids who suffer."
