I Refuse to Be Your Second Choice novel Chapter 119

"I have a way to help you!"

Camila grabbed Benjamin's leg before the kick could land. "Go find Natalie Watson. If you can make her happy, this whole problem will be solved."

If Alexander was acting on his uncle's behalf, then Natalie was the key.

Benjamin considered it. It made a twisted kind of sense. He disgustedly pulled his leg free. "Why would you be so nice?"

"You're my brother. The White Group will be yours one day, and I'll still need the family's support. Who else would I help?"

Benjamin's scowl softened slightly. "That's true. But if you ever cross me, I'll kick you out of this family without a penny to your name!"

Camila managed a pained smile, her face already swelling. "I know you have a thing for Natalie Watson. If you do as I say, not only will you make her happy, but you'll have her wrapped around your little finger."

---

In her office, Natalie had just finished a video conference with the London headquarters.

She pressed the intercom to call for Ava Thompson.

"Nora, you needed me."

Ava knocked and entered a moment later. Natalie closed a file. "Could you book a spa appointment for me? For two people, seven o'clock tonight."

She'd been feeling tired the last few days and planned to unwind with Arianna.

"I'm afraid tonight won't work. You have a dinner meeting with Mr. Green from the Green Group," Ava said, checking the schedule.

Natalie suddenly remembered. Mr. Green himself had called a few days ago to arrange a meeting tonight to discuss consigning a famous painting from his collection for auction.

Her relaxation plans would have to wait.

At the appointed time, Natalie arrived at the private room in the restaurant.

She opened the door to the sound of laughter.

At the head of a large round table sat Alexander Ramirez. Dressed in a black suit and a black shirt, with a metal watch glinting on his wrist, he exuded an air of cool restraint.

"Ms. Watson, please, have a seat," Mr. Green said, gesturing to the seat opposite him. "I originally arranged this dinner to discuss the partnership with you, but since there are three top auction houses in Cabinda, I took the liberty of inviting Mr. Ramirez as well."

She picked up her teacup. Before she could drink, Samuel reached over, replaced it with his own, and said, "Yours is cold. Drink this one."

Then he turned to Alexander. "Doesn't everyone, Mr. Ramirez?"

He had been lucky enough to witness Alexander's Rolls-Royce tailing the car Natalie was in with Arianna one morning.

The tea in her cup was indeed lukewarm, but she had no intention of drinking from Samuel's. Her throat was still scratchy from her recent fever, and she just wanted something to soothe it. Now she was stuck.

A waiter knocked and entered, carrying a glass of hot orange juice. He placed it in front of Natalie. "Ms. Watson, your juice."

The drink arrived at the perfect moment, saving her from her dilemma.

"Thank you, Mr. Green."

Since Mr. Green had arranged the dinner, she assumed the drink was from him.

"Oh, I can't take credit for that, Ms. Watson. You're thanking the wrong person," Mr. Green said, glancing toward the head of the table.

Alexander took a leisurely sip of his tea. "Aaron Lee was thirsty, so he ordered an extra."
