Sophia had heard bits and pieces about Alexander's personal life and had even seen the trending news about them three years ago.

Successful men always had a few women orbiting them. She had encountered Natalie Watson first and noticed Alexander's unusual interest in her, so she'd planned to get rid of Natalie before dealing with Camila White.

She hadn't even made a move, and now this woman had delivered herself right to her doorstep.

She was curious to see what made this woman so special.

"Ms. Green, I don't deserve such a title," Camila said with a bittersweet smile. "I haven't been anything to Alexander for a long time. He's already made it clear he wants nothing to do with me."

"He cut ties with you?" Sophia asked, surprised.

Camila nodded, her expression a mixture of timidity and grievance. "After all, he has a new flame by his side now. That woman's tactics are formidable; I'm no match for her."

"Is the woman you're talking about Natalie Watson?"

"Ms. Green, you know her too?"

Camila looked astonished. Sophia let out a cold sneer, her eyes filled with disdain. "I know her. She's just an auctioneer with no family connections to speak of. You couldn't even handle her?"

Sophia clicked her tongue. She hadn't expected this woman to be so useless, especially given that she'd known Alexander since childhood.

"Perhaps it's because she has no family background that Alexander finds her so appealing. That's why I chose to back away. I don't want to get hurt anymore."

Camila's eyes reddened as she spoke, and she offered Sophia a piece of advice. "Ms. Green, you should probably stay away from that woman. She's very manipulative and knows how to use Alexander's status. It's better to keep your distance."

Sophia listened, then slowly paced as she sized Camila up.

"You're trying to use me to get to Natalie Watson."

"No, not at all. It's just that you brought it up, so I said a bit more than I should have," Camila replied, looking as if she had truly moved on. "I've given up on Alexander. I won't get entangled with him again."

Sophia observed her dejected expression and weary demeanor. She didn't seem to be lying; she genuinely looked like she had lost all hope regarding Alexander.

"If you can't even deal with an orphan, that just proves how useless you are."

Sophia put her sunglasses back on, let out a mocking laugh, and strode toward the agency building.

Once she was gone, Camila looked up. The timid, fearful expression vanished, replaced by a sinister look. A sarcastic smile twisted her lips.

"Sophia Green, I'm waiting for you to become the tool of my revenge."

Soon, she would terminate the pregnancy, then win back Savannah Davis's favor. Marrying into the Ramirez family would be a sure thing.

Natalie returned to her office after a meeting.

For the past two days, Alexander's car had been waiting outside Pinnacle Place at closing time to take her home.

His excuse was that since they were neighbors, it was only natural to go home together.

At the spa, they changed into swimsuits and went to a private hot spring bath.

The water was the perfect temperature, and the fatigue from the past few days seemed to melt away. Natalie closed her eyes in blissful comfort.

"It's so nice to be away from Alexander and his constant pestering."
