Chapter 420 Plan
And it seemed like her idol even remembered her?
“Of course we’re not bringing him.”
Tess sounded frustrated.
“But he looks like he can’t take care of himself. I’m a little worried about him.”
Lyra sighed.
It must be that “protective fan” instinct.
Tess turned to Lyra and couldn’t help but twitch her mouth. “I thought meeting him would make you realize he’s just a normal guy.”
“That’s different. What impressed me was his talent.”
Lyra squinted.
It doesn’t matter if my idol is childish, as long as he’s genuinely talented.
Tess shook her head. “But don’t even think about bringing him. Not many people in Krigan know why we’re here, but we still need to keep our plans secret. He can just stay at the hotel.”
Lyra nodded. “Exactly.” Then turned to face Tess. “So, have you figured out what we’re doing tomorrow?”
When it came to business, Tess narrowed her eyes, instantly becoming completely serious. “First, we’re going to visit his family.
“From Abel’s recording, it sounds like Henry has control over Nicholas not just because he paid him enough, but it’s most likely related to his family.”
“Yeah, if we have time, maybe we should check out the hospital where Nicholas‘ wife gave
birth.”
Lyra finished speaking and met Tess’s eyes.
They stayed silent, but the trust between them spoke louder than words.
Meanwhile, downstairs at the hotel…

“Mr. Lock, are you staying at this hotel? We booked the biggest, most expensive hotel in Krigan for you-”
Finn glanced at him, and the speaker immediately shut up, shrinking back.
“Check me in.”
His voice was low, his gaze cold.
Yet those eyes softened briefly when he saw the lights on the second floor go out.
He knew his arrival probably wouldn’t make her happy. He was just trying to make himself feel
better.
But he was usually very disciplined, and acting on his heart’s desire like this was a rare impulse.
Finn looked down, his eyes deep and unreadable.
But…
He kept thinking about the guy who was with Tess a while ago.
He couldn’t lie–he was jealous.
They were practically strangers, yet the guy got to stick around with her. She even let him follow her. But with Finn–her husband for years–she treated him with hate and resistance.
Finn’s eyes dimmed.
“Mr. Lock, it’s done.”
Finn took the room card handed to him, having already gotten rid of his sad feelings. All that was left was his usual coldness.
That evening, after spending some time with Kylie, Nadine rushed to find Henry.
“Dad! Kylie wants to ship the wedding dress from the top floor!”
She burst into the room, anxious.
The housekeeper who was mopping paused, gripped the mop handle tighter, and quickly
looked down.

“What?!”
Before Henry could react, Shannon jumped up in a hurry.
She moved so fast that she almost twisted her back and stumbled.
Henry didn’t seem to care and didn’t reach out to steady her. Instead, he stepped forward and grabbed Nadine’s wrist. “She wants to ship the wedding dress away? To whom? Why?”
Seeing their tense expressions, Nadine quickly explained everything.
After hearing it, the worry on Henry’s face slowly faded, and he eased back into his seat.
Shannon was still anxious. She turned to Henry, trying to read his expression.
“What is she up to, Henry?”
“Nadine, good job.” Henry’s eyes narrowed as he spoke in a low voice.
Shannon was puzzled.
Nadine smiled and obediently sat down between them.
Meeting Shannon’s puzzled gaze, Henry softened his voice to explain, “Kylie probably wants to send the wedding dress to the Larsons.”
Hearing that, Shannon immediately stood up, upset. “No way! That wedding dress was a gift from the Larsons when she married you. She can’t just send it away! And why are you not worried? That dress is worth over 400 million!”
She tugged on Henry’s sleeve, urging him to stop it, then suddenly turned to Nadine as if remembering something. “You’re not actually going to let her ship it, are you?”
Nadine shook her head. “The wedding dress is still in the villa. I came here as soon as I found out so we could talk.”
Shannon sighed in relief, but the next thing Henry said made her eyes widen again. “Let her ship it.”
“What?!”
Henry took Shannon’s hand, squeezed it in his palm, and patted it gently to calm her down.
“Shannon, didn’t I just tell you I was going to make a huge profit off the Larsons?”

Shannon was a little calmer but was still annoyed. “But if you ship that dress, you’ll lose 400 million before you even get anything from the Larsons!”
