Inferno Demon Riders MC: My Five Obsessed Bullies novel Chapter 20

Kylian/Karma’s P.O.V.

“I can’t believe you’re really fucking doing this to her,” C.G. said, shaking his head at me. “Or making me do this to her.”

sighed and scrubbed my hand over my face. I need to shave, I need to finish paperwork, I need to contact so many people, need to get back to the other issues the club has. I’ve been avoiding it all. Including going to see my dad.

I’m sure that someone has told them what I’ve done by now.

“Give it up already Guru,” Psycho bit out. “Who gives a fuck about her?”

“I do,” C.G. gritted out. “I care a lot about her and you other dumbasses do too.”

“Nah,” Psycho disagreed, shaking his head.

“I just want her fucking gone,” Havoc chimed in..

“Because you know you want her,” C.G. grumbled.

“No, because she stresses my sister out, and I hate that, Havoc argued. “Ev don’t deserve this sh.it.”

“Blythe doesn’t deserve this shit, C.G. mumbled.

“Yes she fucking does,” Psycho said as he stood up. “She deserves this and more.” With that, he stormed out of my office.

I sighed as I leaned back in my chair. This is all going to sh.it. It hasn’t even been a full week, and we’re crumbling already. Not in the way that has us dropping to our knees for her, but we’re definitely all sorts of jumbled up right now.

“You need to let some of us talk to her, C.G. said. “Something. I can’t… I can’t keep doing this, Karma. I can’t keep seeing the hollow look on her face the more people ignore her.”

“Stay in your room and avoid her like I do then,”

Havoc suggested with a grunt.

C.G. shook his head.

“I have been, and I hate it,” he muttered. “I’m going to the shop. Let me know when you finally change your fucking mind.”

Then it was just me and Havoc.

“You really gonna keep her around?” he asked me.

“Yes, I replied flatly. Because I just can’t seem to let her go. Or shake the feeling that something isn’t right.

“Why? She’s doing more harm than good,” he said.

“Angela deserves an explanation, don’t you think?” I said, lying to Havoc and myself.

“And after she gets one? Then what?” he asked.

“You know it’ll break her heart when Blythe leaves again. Ev and I hated seeing her go through everything she’s already gone through.

Ev was devastated that she couldn’t make up for it.”

I rolled my eyes.

“You hold your twin on a pedestal,” I mumbled.

“Yeah, whatever,” he replied as he stood up.

“You’re just jealous that Bonnie rarely comes home to see you.”

“Whatever, I grunted.

“Listen, I know you think you’re punishing her, but…” Havoc trailed off. “Just be careful.

Having her here could do more harm than ‹ Chapter 20: Prez’s Orders good. C.G.’s already… well, you know.”

“Shall I just throw her back out on the streets?”

I asked with a raised brow.

“No, but maybe you could call Daniel. He can come take her ass,” he said.

Fucking Daniel. I know he’s her father and she chose him over the rest of us, but… I just really hate that guy.

“If he shows up again looking for her… maybe, but I’m not calling him,” I replied.

“Suit yourself, Prez,” he said as he walked out of my office.

I sighed as I leaned back in my chair. My phone rang, and I looked down to see it was my dad.

I’ve been avoiding him and he knows it.

“Yeah?” I said, deciding to answer.

“What’s goin’ on with ya, boy?” he asked, his accent much thicker than mine. “Ye were su’posed to be here two days ago.”

“I’Il head out in just a bit,” I told him.

“Aye,” he replied. “And you can tell me all about why ya been avoidin’ me.”

Then he hung up before I could respond at all. I rolled my eyes and blew out a breath. There’s one thing l’ve been putting off that I need to do.

Scrolling through my contacts, I stopped on Tusk’s icon and brought my phone to my ear.

“Prez,” Tusk answered on the third ring.

“Somethin’ wrong? Thought it was okay for me to leave since-“

“No, I’m not callin’ cause you’re in trouble,” | cut him off. “I need to talk to you. Your ol’ lady around?”

I heard some shuffling in the background.

“Be right back, baby,” he said to Angela. A few minutes later he spoke to me again. “Alright, go on.”

“I’m just going to come right out and say it,” I told him. “I found Blythe. She’s back.”

Silence.

“Sorry, you found her?” he asked.

“Yup, in Nebraska, hiding,” I said.

“Hiding? From what? Why didn’t she come home?” he asked.

“Dunno, she won’t say,” I replied. “You can ask her yourself when you get back.”

“Fu.ck, is she okay?” he asked, sounding frustrated and worried.

“She’s… fine,” I mumbled, wondering if that was even true. “Pissed that she’s back here.”

“What? Why?” He asked.

So, I left and went back to the clubhouse. I was going to go talk to the guys and then Blythe when I heard shouting coming from the kitchen. I couldn’t make out much at first, but when I got closer, I caught the end of something Alex was saying.

“How dare you!?” Alex screeched.

Then I heard what sounded like a slap. Did she get into it with a sweet tart? Wouldn’t be Alex’s first time, but it would be the first time she had hit somebody. At least to my knowledge.

Suddenly, someone started laughing.

Hysterically. Not just anybody either. I knew that laugh. Hysterical or not. I knew it.

Blythe.

“Are you crazy?” I heard Everly ask, but I’d heard enough.

“What the hell is going on here?!” I shouted as I stormed into the kitchen.

Everly, Alex, Snapper, and Nikki were standing together, facing Blythe. Blythe was laughing so hard tears were streaming down her cheeks and her face and neck were red. It wasn’t happy laughter, and that kind of freaked me out if I’m going to be honest. Her cheeks look a bit swollen, and she’s bleeding from her bottom lip. I also noticed that she was back in that damn uniform.

Was she trying to run away? Is that why they’re fighting? Because they caught Blythe trying to sneak out? Fucking really? It hasn’t even been a full week.

“Blythe, why are you in that fucking diner uniform again?” I snapped at her.

Bly’s lips parted like she was going to answer me, but no words came out. Her eyes lulled to the side and I took a step closer to her. Is she fucking high or something? How the hell did she get drugs? When did she even start doing sh.it like that?

“What are you…?” I trailed off as I took another step, finally noticing the caddy of cleaning supplies on the floor. “Have you been cleaning?”

Why the fu.ck would she be doing that? Was she huffing cleaning supplies to get some kind of fix? Is that why she’s been so grumpy? Why she left her husband? Is Blythe a junkie?

“S-sor… I’II… get back…”

I looked up just in time to see Blythe’s eyes roll back, and her knees gave out. I dove to the ground, catching her right before her head smacked on the hard floor. I looked over her body frantically, expecting to see some kind of wound, but there was nothing.

“Did you guys see her take something?” I asked the girls.

Snapper and Alex shook their heads. Ev just stared wide-eyed. Nikki seemed speechless as well, but collected herself after a moment.

“I saw her pulling pills out of her pocket or something,” she said. “I was trying to confront her about it because I saw her take so many.

She got mean and… well, that’s what started this fight.”

I looked back down at Blythe and started checking her pockets, but they were all empty.

“Sh.it,” I muttered under my breath.

I lifted Blythe into my arms, and just as I turned around, Ev grabbed onto me.

“She probably just passed out, leave her, she said. “She deserves it, right?”

“She could be having an overdose,” | shot back, a little surprised by her callousness.

“Karma”

I shook my head, ignoring Ev. I don’t have time for this. I have to get Blythe some help.

“Doc!” I shouted as I rushed back to Doc’s office. “Doc! I need help!”

Fuck… please be okay…
