Ozias/Dragon’s P.O.V.
“That last interview killed,” I groaned as I walked out of my personal room. Two cracked ribs, a refractured cheek bone, a split lip, and one black eye later, I was freshly showered and very exhausted. All I wanted to do was see my brothers and sleep for 10 straight hours.
Then, it was time to track down my girl.
“Well, the limo is ready to go for you,” Mattia told me.
“Limo?” I asked. “I thought the guys were bringing my bike.”
Mattia shrugged.
“Karma asked if you could keep the limo for the night,” he said. “Think he wants to party.”
“Bikers party with their bikes,” I grumbled, slightly irritated that I wasn’t going to be riding my baby home.
“Don’t sulk,” Mattia teased me.
“Hey, can I ask you something while your brothers aren’t around?” I asked him.
“Course man,” he replied. “You can always ask me anything.”
“Okay,” I said. “Do you know what it is Luca’s keeping from me?” Mattia paled for a moment, but I pretended not to notice as we walked down the hall. “Look, I know I’m not the smartest guy around,” I said. “But I know he’s keeping something from me. I can see it in his eyes. There’s something he knows about Blythe that he doesn’t want to tell me.”
Mattia sighed and ran a hand through his light brown hair.
“I don’t know what it is, but I know there’s something,” he admitted. “If Luca is trying to keep it from you… It can’t be good.”
That’s what I was afraid of.
“She isn’t… like dead or anything, right?” I asked as we made it to the exit.
Mattia stopped and looked at me.
“No, God, no Dragon,” he replied as he pushed the door open. The limo was right there waiting for me. You could still hear screaming fans from around the building. “Just… get in the limo, enjoy the night, you’ll find her. Trust me.”
I gave him a nod and made him promise to meet me at the club before sliding across the limo seat. The door shut behind me and I leaned back against the seat. My head was swimming. The adrenaline from the fight is long gone, but I still feel wired. Whatever Luca is hiding from me, I have a bad feeling about it.
It must have something to do with her husband and why she’s missing. No, not missing. She ran away. She ran from her husband and didn’t come back to us.
Fu.ck. Why didn’t she?
Is she okay? Is she hurt? Is she eating properly? Is she healthy and happy? Is she warm and comfortable?
Fu.ck, I miss her so much. I should have refused to leave her when we were kids. I should have come back home more to see her. I should have given Everly and Alex a piece of my mind sooner. Then maybe she would have run back to us.
I miss her so much. I miss her silky black hair. I miss her pretty blue eyes. I miss her dimples when she smiled. I miss her natural ruby lips. I miss her peachy scent. I miss her voice and her laugh and the light she used to bring to my life. I feel so… empty without her. So many years of being empty.
“Yo, driver! Why ain’t we moving yet!?” I called out.
I knew the divider was up, but I assumed Mattia would tell the driver to get going. I thought we’d be picking my brothers up towards the front if they weren’t here waiting for me. Maybe they got caught up with some chicks or something. Well, I certainly hope they don’t plan to bring any girls in here. Fu.ck no. Not when I’m about to finally start my search for my girl.
Suddenly, the door opened. I didn’t lift my head, assuming it was my friends. I was too afraid they’d actually have girls with them, so I was waiting to hear the string of giggles that always follow women.
“Karma! What are you doing?!” Hissed a feminine voice, almost too low for me to hear.
“Just get in the car,” Karma replied.
Great, we’re kidnapping someone now.
Sighing, I lifted my head. I can see Karma holding the door open. I can’t see his head though. There’s another pair of legs there too. Women’s legs. Long, pale and creamy, se.xy.
“Who’s in there?” The female asked, whispering angrily.
“Get in and find out,” Karma replied tightly.
“But-”
“Okay, fu.ck this, Spark,” Karma cut her off. “You’re startin‘ to get on my nerves.”
Did he just say Spark?
“I don’t give a fuck about your nerves- Ah!” The girl was cut off as she squealed. I thought her voice was starting to sound familiar, but thought it was just my imagination. I mean there’s no way that…
And then Karma literally threw her into the limo, and it was like time stopped. Those familiar electric eyes were wide as they pinned me down. My jaw went slack as we stared at each other. She was in the seat right across from me. Close enough to touch.
“Dragon…” she breathed out, and my brain finally started to work. Sort of. I couldn’t form words, but I could at least think again.
Karma slid onto the seat next to Blythe and closed the door.
“Congrats on the fight, brother,” he said with a smile. “You ever check your pocket for that gift I gave you?”
I had completely forgotten about it, and I really didn’t care right now. I was wearing the same sweatpants, but I didn’t care enough to check whatever his gift was. My eyes were glued to Blythe as I tried to make sense of what the hell was happening.
She’s here. Blythe is here. Right here. In front of me. She came back to us. She’s back. She’s here.
And she’s fu.cking mine.
Holy fu.cking sh.it, my sweet girl has grown up. Her short, green dress does little to hide her curves. Her a.ss and t**s got bigger. Fu.ck, she’s shaped like an hourglass. Her legs are creamy and so inviting. My eyes dragged down the length of her, soaking in every inch that I could. She was squirming under my gaze, exciting me further. When my eyes lazily made their way back to her face, I could have fu.cking came.
Blythe was flushed red all down to her chest, disappearing behind the silk material of her dress. Her ruby lips were parted slightly. Her long black hair was slightly wild. Those fierce eyes were wide with curiosity. She looks eager. She looks ready to climb into my lap and please me the way I’ve been dreaming since I was old enough to have wet dreams. It might be my imagination, but I don’t care.
“Are you two gonna say somethin‘ or just keep starin‘ at each other?” Karma asked us.
My mouth opened, but no words came out.
“…” Blythe trailed off, staring at me like she was seeing a ghost. “C–congratulations Dragon. On your fight.”
I rested my hands on her hips again, trying to control myself. I’m pretty sure she feels my rock–hard co.ck under her, but she isn’t saying anything. Or acting all shy like I’d expect. Something is different about Blythe. Something about her is… stronger.
“Well, I… tried everything I could think of,” I said. “When you got a phone, I tried to call and text you several times, but apparently one of the first things you did was block me.”
“What? Why would you think that?” she asked, frowning.
“Uhm, because that’s what you told me,” I replied. “When I started harassing you on social media, you finally replied to me one time and told me to leave you alone. Said I wasn’t getting the hint when you blocked me.”
Blythe’s jaw dropped.
“I did no such thing!” she yelled. “I… I never… You never…”
“I’ll get to the bottom of it, Spark, I promise,” Karma said, but Blythe still didn’t look happy.
“You could have told the guys that,” she said to me. “You could have written me letters.”
I smiled at that.
“I wrote you letters every single day for two years,” I told her.
Bly’s eyes went wide again.
“You wrote me?” She breathed out.
I chuckled as I pulled her closer to me.
“Are we The Notebook right now,” I teased her.
Blythe rolled her eyes.
“So, you… did try to contact me?” she asked.
“Of course I did, Peaches,” I replied as I cupped her cheek. “A day hasn’t gone by that I haven’t wanted you.”
She looked at me as her bottom lip started to tremble.
“Did you know?” She whispered.
Know?
“He doesn’t know anythin‘ at all, Spark,” Karma said gently. “None of us knew before, and we’ve kept him in the dark since we found you and dragged you back.”
“Dragged her back?” I asked, looking between the two of them.
Karma sighed.
“We have a lot to talk about, brother,” he told me. “But first, you and I have a bet to win.”
