The new changes were utterly terrifying in their scope as they began simply by increasing the maximum number of Rudimentary Units of Everything from twenty four to eighty-one.
The duration of their usage had also expanded from one minute of sustained effect to three full minutes of continuous power.
This alone would have greatly expanded his combat capabilities, especially when combined with the more concentrated authority of his elevated Sovereignty.
But then his Organ of Civilization went even further beyond reasonable expectations. It proceeded to add a feature that only came about because of understanding and existing within THE Northern Unfurling Node of Existence of THE Creature.
Based on observing that construct’s methodology, his Organ had created its own version that frankly seemed obscene and terrifying in nature.
The ability to irreversibly bind and imprison existences inside of THE Infinite Desmoterion. A literal prison contained within his Organ of Civilization itself.
Those bound within could not escape ever. All of their time would be spent refining their Ways of Existence and making themselves stronger for the sole purpose of making him stronger in turn.
Whatever gains they achieved in developing their Sovereignty, he would be the one feeding off and benefiting from their progress.
And while the idea itself carried undeniable cruelty, Noah was not of the mindset to hesitate or feel undue guilt. He was already thinking and planning what entities he could potentially be imprisoning as his first captives.
He was not overly cruel or sadistic in contemplating this. This was simply how existence operated at its most fundamental level.
When a farmer cultivated chickens or raised cows for the sole purpose of eventual slaughter so that he could feed his family, no one looked at him as cruel or evil. It was simply the law of nature playing out. The survival of the fittest in action.
At this moment, Noah simply needed to find his metaphorical chickens to place in his own cultivation coop so they could endlessly and perpetually produce benefits for him.
He shook his head internally while processing such a pragmatic thought. Well, he attempted to shake his head even though he was currently still manifesting as a pulsing infinity symbol of pure energy.
His current form of concentrated authority shone brilliantly with blue-gold radiance as it began the process of reforming into his humanoid body. The energy condensed and shaped itself with purposeful intent.
He simply took a moment to breathe in and feel the profound immensity of his existence. Truly, the weight and presence of his Way of Existence now exceeded any of the entities that he had previously defeated and superseded.
Frankly, he could actually say with confidence that the weight and immensity he currently emanated even exceeded someone like Stellara at her peak. May her soul rest peacefully in his light.
She would have made for an excellent first prisoner to enter his cultivation facility. But for now, he had to actively seek opportunities to encounter hostile entities of her caliber or higher.
If he could manage to leave the Infinite Unfurling with nine Pre-THE Existences irreversibly imprisoned in his Organ of Civilization, he could consider this temporal journey one of his greatest successes.
THE Living Origin’s voice cut through his contemplation with pointed commentary.
In such a grand state of elevated existence, he looked at THE Living Origin who had made such a pointed comment. He proceeded to respond with a measured philosophy.
THE Living Origin looked at him with analytical assessment at these words before she shook her head with something resembling reluctant agreement.
"From here onward, I will leave you on your own to navigate these dangers," she said with finality. "If you can make it out of this place alive through your own capabilities, it will further cement the absolute conviction of your Origin. If you cannot manage survival, then that is simply how things unfold."
