It seemed all my efforts to find them were for nothing until I realized he might have taken her to his bedroom. I didn’t want to imagine it, but it was a possibility, so with long strides, I made it to that floor, slowing down the closer I got to that bedroom door. 

I stopped right by the door and held my breath just to listen, but there was nothing. I was just about to turn away and look elsewhere when I finally heard that fucking gasp of pleasure from her. 

I then flinched when something slammed against the door, making me take a step back. 

“Fuck!” Maddox grunted from inside. 

The constant slamming against the door made my chest tighten. I didn’t know if he had her pinned against it while lifting her, or if she had her hands against it for support but whatever it was, he was balls deep inside of her and it took everything in me not to knock down that door. 

I should’ve walked away with the little dignity I had left, but I just couldn’t stop listening. 

“Give it to me!” she begged for it and that made me want to punch the wall. 

She moaned his name like he was a sex god or something, like she had never had it like that before. 

I stood there for so long that I heard her orgasm and everything went quiet for a few seconds. They were done and I had to get out of there before that door would open. 

Just as I took my first step, I heard them fucking again. I shut my eyes tightly, wondering when it was going to end. Maddox was acting like someone who hadn’t fucked in a long time. 

She was louder the second time, like he was fucking her hard and she was just taking it, even begging for more. 

He made it sound like he owned her and I hated every part of that. 

It was 2 AM and the party was over. Most of the guests had left and some were already on their way out. 

Zoey and Ella were in the company of the Barclay twins, the pairs looking at each other like they were about to have a good time once getting to their destination. 

I hadn’t left yet and was still taking shots rapidly while holding a bottle in my other hand, hoping it would make me feel better, but it just made me feel worse. Maddox and Harper still hadn’t come downstairs ever since I had heard them fucking in his bedroom 

It made my blood boil as I imagined just how long they had been fucking up there. 

Just to feel at ease, I told myself he must have snuck her out through the back just so she wouldn’t feel embarrassed since many might have suspected it. 

“Hey, still enjoying the party?” Ella teased me. 

“I’ll be leaving soon.” I took another shot. “Won’t you wait for Harp?” 

Zoey giggled suggestively. “She called just a few minutes ago and told us to go.” 

I tightened my grip on the bottleneck. “She did?” 

The two of them proudly nodded in unison, now making their way to the front door as they waved at me.
