Just One Kiss Before Divorcing Me (Martin and Calvin) novel Chapter 150

CH 150

Marilyn

The press release had been done, and now it was just a waiting game. Mostly everyone wanted to know if they were going to get back together. Though the past few days here, living in this house with Calvin had kind of turned into her trying not to be alone with Calvin, he was very much the man she’d been married to, and he

liked getting her alone.

Caging her in between his arms with a look of hunger and desire in his eyes, she’d seen that now, on half a dozen occasions his hazel green eyes, turn deep green as he’d stared down at her and told her he loved her, wanted her, ached to kiss her, he was very vocal about telling her what he wanted. His mouth had dropped right to skin on several occasions now, and he’d kissed her in many places, either a soft gentle chaste press of his lips to her cheek or temple, once to her ear, and once a deep hungry kiss to the tender skin below her ear, that had made her gasp and her hands curl in his shirt all tightly before he pulled away and murmured I’d best stop there.” And then he had walked away from her leaving her a little on the hot and flushed side.

The man was out to seduce her, and she knew it was working. The problem was, so did he: He just sat and smiled at her sometimes, slid his eyes over her and a few times he’d cornered her and leaned into her, breathed in her perfume, his nose sliding up her neck the barest of touches, and then he would just wander off away from her like nothing happened. He’d been tormenting her for three days now.

Today had been different, and tonight she’d gone up to shower and change into something comfortable. She’d been working downstairs and the house had been quiet, everyone was asleep, she thought, and was standing in the walk–in after her shower, looking at all her old clothes. She reached out and opened the draw and there were her old cream–coloured silk pajamas neatly folded in the draw. She reached out and touched them. She didn’t really wear things like that anymore.

Her head whipped around at a soft whistle that came from behind her and the words, “Now that’s a nice sight.” Calvin was leaning in the doorway, half bloody naked only wearing a pair of pajama bottoms himself, and his eyes moved over her towel–clad body.

Marilyn clutched at it and pulled it tighter to her. She had a lot of scars that he didn’t need to see. They’d been getting along almost like in the old days over the past few days, and she knew that was what had led to his behaviour. She could just sit and talk like they’d once been able to if others were in the room, but that look now on his face, she knew that look..

“Calvin, you should leave.” She told him, but she’d taken a hesitant step back from him as well and that had gained his undivided attention.

“I think you only say that because you know I want you, that” he stepped into the walk–in, and she stepped hurriedly back away from him, and his mouth had quirked up in one corner. “You know you want me to. That I could pull you into our bed with ease if I truly wanted to.”

She shook her head ‘no‘ at him, and he strolled further into the room, then just sat himself on the end of the ottoman and smiled at her. She couldn’t get past him, not with those impossibly long arms of his, and the way his eyes were on her, she knew exactly what he wanted.

“Calvin please.” She half whispered because a part of her wanted to give in and have him all to herself, kiss the hell out of him as they made love. She’d always wanted it, and he was clear in his opinion that she could

have that.

Hmm, I like the sound of that.” he crooked his finger at her. Come here Marilyn, let me kiss you.

She shook her head no, but a part of her really wanted to, and she knew it. Because he’d managed to comer her today, and he’d told her he was going to kiss her, couldn’t deny himself any longer, and she’d not only heard the wanton need in his voice, she’d seen how green his eyes were, and then he had just dropped his mouth to hers, had done it in the kitchen pantry where she’d not been able to escape him. He’d had her all pressed up against the wall in there right before lunch, and he just kissed her all deep and slowly and her bloody toes had curled, and she’d succumbed to him, and kissed him back.

Then he’d just smiled down at her all knowingly, murmured “food for thought.” and he’d kissed her forehead softly and walked away from her, leaving her there all hot and bothered and alone, wanting that man.

Now here he was, and she was only wearing a towel, and she could clearly recall that moment in the pantry. All the moments over the past few days, she saw him reach out for her and couldn’t take a step back was already up against the far end of the walk–in. His impossibly long arms meant he could reach her, and he had a hold of her towel and tugged her gently forwards towards him.

Pulling her right to him until she was standing between his splayed legs, she clung to the towel as she bit her lip when just his fingertips slid ever so slowly up along the outside of her thigh. “I want to see you.” he murmured, and she could hear the deep desire filled inflection in his voice, something that she honestly loved hearing, always had, and it was no different now to then. Then he tugged gently at the towel once more, and she shook her head. He was going to hate those scars on her body.

“Why not?” he asked and let go of the towel. “I’ll be gentle and please you before myself,” he told her, and she knew he would. He’d always done what he’d said he would, especially in their bed. “It’s not like we’ve never.” He teased her a little, allowing his fingertips to slide down the back of her thighs to trail over one of the scars he could now feel on her leg.

“Calvin, it’s different now.she murmured and turned her face away from him, as heat rose in her cheeks as his hands slid up her thighs once more and curved around her backside and then his mouth was pressed onto her towel–covered belly.

Just one kiss, and it was her complete undoing, and she knew it, as he deepened the kiss and she gasped as she felt him grow hard against her body. He pulled his mouth from hers and leaded his forehead against hers. “See what you do to me,” he murmured, “Just one kiss, Marilyn, and I need to have you.” His green eyes filled with desire were locked onto her violet ones as she stared up into his, and she knew she was done fighting him, “I want you, Cal.” She whispered her confession, something she knew he wanted to hear.

“I have missed you, Rin.” He told her softly, using the name only he was allowed to call her by, I’ll never leave you again.” He assured her, as his thumb slid against her cheek, and then his mouth claimed hers once more
