**Chapter 13: The Genius Is Shock**
Calen hesitated for a moment, his expression grave, before he slowly shook his head. “Their name is not to be spoken aloud.”
“Master…” The word slipped from Maxwell’s lips, his throat tightening around it involuntarily.
Even someone as skilled as Golden Hands would refer to this individual with the utmost respect, calling him “Master.”
It couldn’t possibly be Helen.
No, it was absolutely not Helen!
Maxwell repeated this mantra silently in his mind, desperately trying to convince himself of its truth.
His body became rigid, and he felt a wave of dread wash over him. With trembling fingers, he bent down to retrieve the glasses that had clattered to the floor, each shard glinting ominously under the harsh fluorescent lights.
As he exited the ward, he moved through the corridor in a daze, leaning heavily against the cold, unyielding wall as if it were the only thing preventing him from crumbling to the ground.
This was the first time in his life that the proud and arrogant man had truly tasted the bitterness of such overwhelming defeat.

Her voice rose, dripping with disgust and disdain. “Why? Did that brat come to the hospital to bother you again? I knew she wouldn’t leave the Morgans so easily! After living like a rich princess for years, how could she possibly crawl back to those filthy biological parents of hers? Maxwell, you need to listen to me—stay away from her! Once you get entangled with trash like that, you’ll never be able to shake it off!”
“No, Mom. She didn’t pester me, just hear me out—” Maxwell felt his heart race, unwilling to let his mother spit such venom at Helen.
The mere thought of how Helen had endured four long years of verbal abuse from her so-called “family” twisted something painfully inside him.
“She… Does she practice traditional medicine? She just saved the heiress of the Garcias at the hospital. Modern medicine had already declared the surgery hopeless. Even Golden Hands, Dr. Wynn, said he couldn’t do it. But Helen… She used a traditional surgical method and saved Ms. Garcia. Even Dr. Jefferson treated her with—”
