Kicked Out I Unlocked My Ultimate Boss Mode novel Chapter 30

**Broken Doesn’t Mean End**
**By M. Kaushik**
**Chapter 30: Cut It Out With Those Comments**

“Damn it! That idiot, Sean Griffin, is back at it again?” Josh’s voice was laced with fury as he nearly leaped from his chair, his fists clenched tightly at his sides. “Why can’t he just stay out of our lives? He used to treat you like some sort of lapdog, Helen, making you the laughingstock among the elite in Veridia. Everyone called you ‘Veridia’s top lapdog.’ Now that you’ve finally broken free from him, he just keeps calling, as if he thrives on this humiliation.”

Helen maintained a calm demeanor, her expression almost serene. “Yeah, it’s pretty pathetic,” she replied, her voice steady, but inside, she felt a twinge of annoyance at the memories of Sean.

Josh could hardly contain the rage boiling within him. It infuriated him to think how that jerk had tarnished Helen’s reputation. If it hadn’t been for Helen’s feelings for Sean in the past, the entire crew would have taken the Griffins down a long time ago.

The more he dwelled on it, the more his anger simmered and bubbled over.

Without a second thought, Josh sprang to his feet, determination etched across his face. “No way! I’m heading to Room 6103 right now to confront that bastard and find out exactly what he wants!”

Helen, however, seemed indifferent to his fiery resolve.

That realization hit Josh hard—no matter what he did to that jerk from the Morgans, Helen wouldn’t feel a shred of remorse.

Did that jerk actually have the audacity to suggest giving Helen one last chance?

I’ll show him what a real last chance looks like, Josh thought, his heart racing as he stormed off toward Room 6103, fueled by a mix of anger and protective instinct.

“Josh!” Hugo called out, a frown creasing his forehead as he scrambled to follow.

Helen was already on her feet, her expression a mix of concern and determination. “I’ll go check on him. You guys just keep playing. I’ll make sure he doesn’t go too far,” she said, her voice calm but resolute.

Josh’s impulsive nature worried her. If he barged in like this, he might end up spending the night in a police station, all for someone as worthless as Sean.

It simply wasn’t worth the trouble.

Room 6103 was tucked away in the regular VIP section, and as Josh approached, he noticed the door was ajar, allowing the music and raucous laughter from within to spill out into the hallway.

Inside, Sean was slouched in the main chair, his face a mask of frustration as he stared at his phone, having just been hung up on. He dialed Helen’s number again, only to be met with the harsh reality that he had been blocked.

Annoyance flickered across his features, and he downed a glass of liquor in one swift motion, his expression darkening.

“Sean, did that lapdog show up yet? She didn’t hang up on you again, did she?” a blonde lackey asked, a fawning grin plastered across his face.

“Of course not! She’s Sean’s top lapdog. She comes when he calls and leaves when he tells her to. If Sean tells her to come, you think she’d dare refuse?” a chubby guy chimed in, his laughter ringing hollow.

“If Sean told her to kneel and lick his shoes, she’d probably do it, grinning from ear to ear,” a skinny guy added, his laughter echoing in the room.

“She’s probably racing over here right now, right, Sean?”
