Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 110

If she had known things would turn out this way, she would have swallowed her pride, appeased Honora, and found a way to acknowledge her biological daughter.

“Well, it’s time for me to head home and prepare for my grandson and your granddaughter’s engagement party next week. It must be a grand affair,” Zoltan announced, standing up as he spoke to Kiernan.

Seeing him rise, Kiernan quickly said, “Larissa, please see Mr. Palmer out.”

Larissa looked over and nodded. “Of course. Grandpa Zoltan, if you could just wait one moment, I need to get something.”

Leaving the Palmers and Judsons looking on in confusion, Larissa slipped out of the banquet hall.

Vivica seized the opportunity to comment in a chiding tone, “Honestly, that child. She says she’s going to see Mr. Palmer out, but then she runs off to who knows where.”

Zoltan, however, waved a hand dismissively. “It’s no trouble to wait.”

A few moments later, Larissa returned carrying a small wooden box.

Seeing it, Vivica asked in a deliberately gentle voice, “Larissa, dear, what’s that you have? Was it so important you had to make Mr. Palmer wait?” Her tone was clearly an attempt to get back into Larissa’s good graces.

Sapphira felt a pang of irritation.

Larissa spared Vivica a cool glance. “What I have is none of your business, Aunt Vivica.”

The name “Aunt Vivica” was like a slap. Vivica forced a smile. “Oh, you silly girl. There’s no need to be so distant with me.”
