Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 109

The music stopped, and the stormy sea vanished.

The guests slowly returned to reality, the look of utter shock still lingering in their eyes.

“Incredible! That piece was absolutely incredible! The performance was so vivid, it felt like we were really there!”

“Did you truly compose that on the spot? You’re a genius! An absolute genius!”

“If you had been born during the Renaissance, your musical achievements would rival those of Chopin and Beethoven!”

Zoltan shot to his feet, his entire body trembling with excitement. For a man of his stature to show such unbridled emotion and give such high praise to someone so young was a testament to the brilliance of Larissa’s original composition.

Larissa stood and gave Zoltan a slight nod. “I did compose it just now. I’m humbled by your praise, Mr. Palmer.”

Zoltan, still beaming, stamped his foot in mock frustration. “I wish I could adopt you as my own granddaughter! Why do you have to be my grandson’s fiancée?”

At his words, Haskell’s hand, still holding his phone, froze. He looked at his grandfather and said with a helpless smile, “Grandpa, you can’t do that.”

The exchange drew a ripple of laughter from the guests.

Paxton's family, however, looked ashen. The more exceptional Larissa proved to be, the more it highlighted their foolishness. Everyone in the room knew they had chosen their adopted daughter, Honora, over their own flesh and blood.

Larissa chuckled. “It’s alright. I can call you Grandpa Zoltan now, if you’d like.”
