"Then how can I find her?" Finley asked, desperation creeping into his voice. If he couldn't get rid of this poison, he would be under Larissa's thumb forever. The humiliation was worse than death.
"I have no way to contact her directly. All I can do is let you know the next time she brings a rare herb to auction, Mr. Judson."
"...I understand. Thank you, Mr. Lawson."
Finley hung up, his grip on the phone tightening. His eyes were cold with hatred.
Once he found a cure, he would make Larissa's life a living hell.

Larissa returned to her villa and gathered the herbs she had left out to dry. Back in her room, she sorted them into different wooden boxes.
Her phone rang. It was Nightveil, likely with the report she had requested on the Judson family's current business holdings.
She dusted off her hands and answered.
"Boss, I've looked into all the Judson family enterprises like you asked."
"The main profit driver is still Judson Pharmaceuticals. However, under Paxton's management, the company is clearly in decline. They haven't produced any innovative drugs in years, while competitors are constantly pushing new products and recruiting top talent. With Paxton's outdated management style, Judson Pharmaceuticals is only going to struggle more in the future."
