The moment I heard that votes, I knew who had 1tived.
The crowd parted like water being cut, and Vincent strode over with his long legs, accompanied by a considerably aged elderly
mah.
instinctively looked up, and even Joseph slightly turned his head, a sharp glint flashing behind his glasses.
Honestly, seeing Vincent wasn’t surprising to anyone, since the Wentworth family did have some distant family connections with Blood Moon Pack. But what really made the scene quiet wasn’t Vincent.
It was the elderly man beside him.
1 heard people around me softly gasp, many unconsciously straightening their backs.
The elderly man in formal attire, composed yet commanding respect, was the undisputed “Alpha King“-Xander Wentworth.
Even Karina’s expression became much more respectful, hurrying forward to offer support: “Uncle, why did you come in person?”
Her voice was much gentler than usual, filled with genuine reverence.
Even Joseph nodded slightly toward Xander: “Uncle Xander.“.
I narrowed my eyes slightly. This person… I certainly remembered him.
Wasn’t this the old man who suddenly fell ill that I saved on the road that day?
Xander looked at me with a smile, warmth mixed with a bit of mischief: “I heard from Vincent that I could meet my lifesaver tonight. Didn’t expect this place to be quite lively.”
Karina let out a surprised “Ah,” immediately turning to look at me with inquiry in her eyes.
I smiled faintly: “Just happened to encounter it.”
I hadn’t planned to have any further contact with people like Xander, since saving him was purely incidental. But apparently, fate always likes to throw unexpected curveballs.
Xander’s smile deepened, his tone teasing: “So now, can you tell me your name?”
I laughed softly: “Hello, my name is Hazel.”
Who would have thought the world was so small? Vincent stood to the side, also smiling: “Grandfather, didn’t I tell you that you wouldn’t be disappointed coming today?”
Though he was speaking to Xander, his gaze was clearly on me.

Chapter 33
I didn’t respond, but I didn’t avoid it either.
This scene obviously stunned quite a few people.
Blood Moon Pack’s “princess” was not only doted on by Karina, but could also converse easily with someone of Xander Wentworth’s caliber?
Those so–called noble ladies still standing in corners watching the show could no longer contain their jealousy.
They certainly knew Xander Wentworth’s significance. He was a legendary figure who existed only in documents and family legacies. His very existence was a symbol of power and status.
And now, this supposedly unreachable figure had appeared here because of me.
I could feel those mocking, contemptuous, doubtful gazes gradually dissipating, transforming into some complex form of awe.
Even Joseph looked at me meaningfully, as if he had just recognized something.
And my “parents“-Caden and Mary–were completely dumbfounded…
What they had considered a ‘bandon fresh out of prison‘ had now become an existence that could benefit their entire pack. Even Blood Moon Fuck had dimbed the enormores tree that was the Wentworths because of me.
I watched their faces gradually mum ashes, feeling only calm inside.
Victor marmored greeting “How does she know so many people..
Arthur replied coftly. “You should ask ther yourself
Dominic stood beside firem, understanding dawning in his eyes. He finally understood why Vincent had helped me at the film
SEL
“But sive just got out of prisons recently, how did she get the chance to meet such people…” Arthur was still unwilling to accept
I didn’t explain. Explanations no longer held any meaning for me.
Karina took my hand, pretending to scold me with feigned displeasure: “Why didn’t you ever tell me about this?”
I smiled without speaking
Karine was getting more excited now. She certainly understood that while the Wentworth family might be approachable, Xander Wentworth was completely wreathable. His appearance today was enough to bring honor to Blood Moon Pack for an
entire year.
Karina quickly made arrangements: “Maxwell, take Uncle Kander to rest in the back. He doesn’t like these kinds of ONCESIONS–E Only rate for Hazel’s sake.
