Hazel’s POV:
My words just now were like knives, stabbing each member of Silver Moon Pack painfully.
Dominic’s face instantly darkened. He forcefully suppressed his emotions, reaching out to restrain Victor and Gerald who were about to lose control, warning them in a low voice not to act rashly.
At this moment, someone stepped forward–one of Karina’s servants, respectfully conveying a message:
“Lady Karina, Lady Eleanor just heard that someone spoke disrespectfully to Miss Hazel. She said to have them removed. Our Blood Moon Pack banquet doesn’t welcome such people.”
Karina simply nodded lightly, then looked at Caden with emotionless eyes:
“Alpha Caden, please control your family. If they continue causing trouble and I hear anything else I shouldn’t–then I’ll have to ask all of you to leave.”
After speaking, she turned to me with a slightly gentler tone: “Hazel, come with me for a moment.”
Then she instructed Vincent and Joseph: “You two, please make yourselves comfortable.”
I curved my lips in a light smile: “Alright.”
Vincent and Joseph each nodded slightly, maintaining their composed and polite demeanor.
But before I could take a few steps, Caroline’s nearly hysterical roar suddenly erupted behind me:
“You are adopted! You’re just a fake princess!!”
I stopped in my tracks.
Dead silence surrounded us.
Vincent’s eyes suddenly turned cold, the temperature in his pupils instantly dropping to freezing point. That one glance at Caroline was enough to silence anyone.
Joseph also frowned, his expression much more serious than usual.
Everyone else’s faces changed too.
Even the Ellington family, who usually had good relations with Silver Moon Pack, now looked grave with furrowed brows.
-What was wrong with Caroline today?
Wasn’t she usually quite well–behaved?
The Silver Moon Pack members looked at her with increasingly ugly expressions.

Caroline probably realized she’d misspoken too. She suddenly panicked and quickly turned to look at her parents and brothers.
“Dad… Mom…” she tried to explain.
But when she saw their expressions, her pitiful attempts at explanation stuck in her throat, and her voice went hoarse.
I turned around.
Just as Karina was about to explode with anger, I gently pressed her wrist, signaling her to stay calm.
I glanced at Caroline and slowly curved my lips, my voice neither high nor low, just enough for everyone to hear.
“So Miss Caroline has such… self–awareness about her identity as a ‘fake princess‘?”
My words made the air freeze instantly.
Her face turned pale.
I continued leisurely:
“However, if your adoptive father, adoptive mother, and those brothers of yours heard this, it would probably hurt their feelings, wouldn’t it?”
I deliberately emphasized “adoptive“, my smile remaining calm yet cutting into her facade like a sharp blade.
Karina also snorted coldly, her voice not loud but carrying undeniable authority: “You may not consider yourself a daughter, but that doesn’t mean Blood Moon Pack doesn’t treat Hazel as our own daughter.”
Her gaze turned cold as she directly ordered: “Someone, escort the Silver Moon Pack people out.”
Her tone was cold and firm, showing no mercy.
I walked shoulder to shoulder with Karina, not looking back as we passed through the crowd.
Behind us, only the Silver Moon Pack group remained, watched coldly by everyone, along with Caroline’s face that looked as if it had been slapped countless times.
Third POV
Soon, tall Gamma security guards walked over.
They forcibly escorted Silver Moon Pack out of the hotel
Vincent looked at the Caden couple, finally glancing at Dominic with a cold smile: “Tsk, good luck with that daughter you have.”
The sarcastic reverse statement was obvious to everyone.
Moreover, Vincent never bothered to save face for others.
Leaving this remark, Vincent also strode leisurely toward Hazel

Joseph also glanced indifferently at the Silver Moon Pack people, then stepped forward as well.
