Marked By The Mad King Alpha (Phoebe and Perry) novel Chapter 201

**His Mercy Tastes Like Hunger**
**Chapter 201**
**A Summons To War**

**Phoebe’s POV❤**

A rush of warmth flushed my cheeks at his teasing words, igniting a fire deep within me that I struggled to contain. I attempted to wriggle away, desperate for some semblance of distance, but my limbs felt heavy and uncooperative, as if they were tethered to the ground by an invisible force. My frustration mounted when I caught Perry’s low chuckle, a sound that only deepened my embarrassment over my futile escape attempt.

“You’re not going anywhere, love,” he declared, his voice a sultry whisper that sent shivers racing down my spine. In a swift motion, he captured my nipple between his teeth, delivering a playful bite that made my breath hitch, only to be soothed moments later by the warm caress of his tongue. He was acutely aware of what drove me wild, and there was no escaping him now. “You really think you can get away?”

The fabric of my dress felt like a second skin, suffocating in the heat of the blazing sun overhead and the smoldering fire ignited within me. I couldn’t bear it any longer; this clingy garment had to go.

I craved the feel of his skin against mine, the raw intimacy that only he could provide.

“See? You’re practically begging for me,” Perry murmured, his fingers deftly peeling the dress away from my body. As the cool breeze swept across my bare skin, I exhaled a sigh of relief, especially as he positioned himself between my thighs. “Mmm, always so wet and ready,” he purred, his tongue teasingly tracing my earlobe, sending delightful tremors coursing through my entire being.

In an instant, he was deep inside me, filling me completely.

I felt molten and snug around him, a perfect fit, precisely what he desired.

“Shit, Phoebe…” Perry’s growl reverberated against my ear, a primal sound that sent waves of pleasure crashing over me.

I was teetering on the brink, my teeth sinking into the flesh of his shoulder as the pressure within me built, ready to explode into bliss. But just as I was about to shatter, he abruptly wrenched himself away, pulling out with a suddenness that left me gasping.

“Damn it!” His curse was sharp and filled with frustration as he snatched up my dress, his movements quick and agitated. He shot to his feet, yanking on his boxers, a string of expletives spilling from his lips as he stormed away from me.

What just happened? A hollow ache settled in my gut. He had left me hanging, and it was maddening! He hadn’t finished either, leaving me in a state of desperate need.

Quickly, I pulled my dress back on, the fabric feeling foreign against my skin after our heated moment. Perry’s abrupt departure could only mean one thing: someone was approaching, shattering the intimacy we had been sharing.

Damn it!

I needed to find out who had interrupted us.

Tracking Perry was easy; his voice sliced through the air with a sharpness that echoed his anger, and his imposing figure stood out starkly against the vibrant flower beds.

As I approached, I saw Timothy standing there, a sheepish grin plastered across his face. When he spotted me, he waved, his demeanor entirely oblivious to the tension in the air.

Perry, however, kept his back to me, though I could sense him tense, aware of my presence.

“War room. Now. Move,” he commanded, his voice low and dangerous, fixing Timothy with a glare that could freeze fire.

“Can’t I at least greet her?” Timothy replied, completely unaware of the storm he had just walked into. The servants had merely informed him of our presence, and he had rushed in from the main entrance to deliver his report and volunteer for the impending conflict against the Valerium.
