Deanna’s POV:

I pressed my lips together, hesitated for a moment, and then followed her inside.

“Mrs. Eaton.” I gave her a slight nod.

Ruth sat comfortably on the couch, lifting a fine cup of tea the staff had just brought. She smiled and said, “Ms. Wiley, ever since Muses moved into your mall, the luxury shops have been popping up everywhere.”
