Chapter 202 Again
Deanna’s POV:
Luis lifted an eyebrow, looking both helpless and amused.

“It’s from the air freshener on the plane,” he said. “If you don’t believe me, I can take you there right now and let you search. That way you won’t accuse me of cheating just because you’re jealous.”
I lifted my chin. “I’m not jealous! Any werewolf would be bothered by that kind of thing. It’s a basic boundary!”
“Right,” he said, nodding. “So you’re not jealous–you just hate the idea of any woman being near me.”
I frowned. Something about the way he said that didn’t sound right.
Before I could think too much about it, his lips brushed against my neck.
“You didn’t even shower yet!” I blurted.
Luis bit gently at my skin. “Are you saying you don’t like how I smell?”
I bit my lip to stop the soft sound that threatened to escape and glared at him instead.
“I just don’t like the scent on you,” I muttered.
He looked down at me, amusement flickering in his eyes.
And right then, I regretted saying it.
Oh my God. Why was I still talking about the scent? That just made it obvious I was jealous.
Luis’s hand slid down and boldly cupped my breast. “Then maybe you should shower with
me.”
My breath caught, my body trembling. “No!”
His voice dropped, rich and coaxing. “If you don’t like the smell, then you should mark me yourself.”
Before I could argue, he swept me up into his arms and carried me straight into the bathroom.

The shower burst to life, spraying a rush of hot water from above. My back hit the wall as Luis pressed against me, the heat of his body mixing with the cool spray around us.
Our breaths tangled together under the pounding water, and at last, that annoying floral scent on his skin was completely gone.
We stayed in that shower for three whole hours.
By the time we were done, my skin was covered in red marks that screamed his.
I must have cursed him a thousand times in my
head.
Luis, on the other hand, looked completely satisfied. He stood behind me, using the hair dryer to gently dry my hair while keeping his eyes locked on me.
“Don’t glare at me like that,” he said with a grin. “You weren’t exactly gentle either.”
My gaze flicked up to the reddish marks on his neck.
I turned away quickly. “Those weren’t from me.”
“Oh? Then who bit me–a dog?”
I shot him another glare.
Luis chuckled. “I meant our Puddy.”
As if on cue, a “woof!” sounded from outside the door. Poor Puddy must’ve been waiting the whole time.
I nudged Luis with my toe. “Go open the door. Let him in.”
He gave me a slow once–over, eyes glinting. “You sure you want him to come in now?”
That’s when I remembered–I was still wrapped in just a towel.
Luis wasn’t doing much better. His robe hung loose around his waist, showing off that unfairly perfect chest.
Puddy might be a wolfhound, but he was part werewolf–he could definitely sense things.
Too tired to move, I pointed toward the closet. “Fine. Just grab my nightgown.”
“Yes, Princess.”
