Marked By the Pureblood Alpha (Deanna and Luis) novel Chapter 303

**Chapter 303 Headlines**

**Zelena’s POV:**

The atmosphere in the room was thick with tension, a palpable pressure emanating from Ruth that made even my wolf instinctively want to retreat, to hide away from the storm brewing in her eyes. It was as if a dark cloud loomed above us, threatening to unleash its fury at any moment.

Yet, as I thought of Deanna, that fear was swiftly crushed beneath the weight of my burning hatred. The thought of her smug face made my blood boil, igniting a fierce determination within me.

“I need your help,” I stated, my voice steady despite the chaos swirling around us. “As long as you back me up, I can ensure Deanna is kicked out of Mr. Eaton’s life for good. She won’t be able to cause you any trouble ever again.”

Ruth paused, her brow furrowing as she considered my words. Then, she exchanged a meaningful glance with Alina, who stood silently by her side, her expression unreadable.

Without missing a beat, Alina waved the house staff out of the room, her authoritative gesture clearing the space of any distractions.

Ruth’s lips curled into a sly smile as she beckoned me closer. “I enjoy conversing with intelligent individuals. Come here,” she said, her tone surprisingly inviting.

A soft sigh escaped my lips, a mixture of relief and trepidation flooding my senses. At least she was willing to listen to what I had to say.

Taking a step forward, I leaned in closer, lowering my voice to a conspiratorial whisper as I laid out my plan piece by piece. Each detail was crafted with precision, my heart racing as I spoke.

When I finally finished, I stepped back, allowing the weight of my words to settle in the air between us.

“No matter how this unfolds, I hope you can provide me with some funds. I need to leave Nordvale with my family,” I added, my voice barely above a murmur.

I recalled the last time I had dealt with Deanna, how I had drugged her and left her in Mason’s bed, a reckless decision I had made in a moment of desperation. I had never anticipated that someone would swoop in and rescue her from my clutches.

All that effort, all that planning, had been for nothing! And soon after, Mason’s people had come after me, followed closely by Luis’s crew. Each day felt like a descent into hell, a struggle against the inevitable.

I had never imagined that I would find myself scurrying like a rat, hunted down by everyone I had once considered allies.

Fine. If my life was already in ruins, then I would make sure no one else could find peace either.

**Deanna’s POV:**

Inside the conference room, I was meticulously reviewing the retail budget for the upcoming quarter with the senior executives. The figures danced in front of my eyes, each number a testament to our hard work and dedication.

Suddenly, a light knock on the door shattered the focused atmosphere, and my assistant, Ferris Jacobs, burst in, his urgency palpable and disruptive.
