Marked By the Pureblood Alpha (Deanna and Luis) novel Chapter 324

**Chapter 324: Don’t Want Anything Happening to You**

In a quiet corner of the room, Lawrence snapped back to reality, urgency coursing through him as he swiftly reached for his medical kit. His hands moved with practiced efficiency as he began to rewrap the Alpha’s wounds, each movement deliberate and focused.

Once he completed the task, Lawrence turned his attention back to Luis, a spark of excitement lighting up his expression. “Congratulations, Mr. Eaton! The Blood Moon Curse has finally been lifted!” His voice was filled with uncontainable joy, the kind that radiated hope and relief.

He then shifted his gaze to Deanna, a warm smile spreading across his face. “And we owe you a massive debt of gratitude, Ms. Wiley. You’ve become the savior of our pack! I’ll rush to inform Mrs. Eaton and the elders right away. This is nothing short of Nyra’s blessing!” His enthusiasm was palpable, filling the air with a sense of triumph.

But Luis’s reaction was immediate and sharp, his eyes narrowing with a sudden intensity. “No,” he said firmly, his voice slicing through the atmosphere like a knife. “Do not speak of what transpired here today. Not a soul must know that the curse has been lifted.”

Lawrence’s expression shifted from excitement to bewilderment. “What? But Mr. Eaton, this is incredible news—”

“Enough!” Luis interrupted, his tone icy and commanding. “Follow my orders. Anyone who dares to leak this information will be treated as a traitor.”

A heavy silence fell over the group as everyone exchanged uneasy glances, understanding the gravity of Luis’s words. They bowed their heads in respect, the weight of the moment pressing down on them.

With a dismissive wave of his hand, Luis signaled for them to leave. Once Lawrence and the others had exited, the tension in the room lingered, and Deanna felt her lips quiver as tears began to stream down her cheeks once more.

Luis let out a weary sigh, his heart aching at the sight of her distress. He gently pulled her down to sit beside him, concern etched on his face. “What happened to your shoulder? This isn’t a new injury. When did this occur?” His voice was soft, filled with genuine worry.

As the doctor tended to her wound, Deanna finally grasped the full extent of the damage. The skin was torn open, showing signs of infection, and even through the bandages, blood continued to seep through. She couldn’t help but notice that his entire body bore the marks of battle—bullet grazes and cuts that told a harrowing story of pain.

Luis lowered his gaze, his eyes meeting hers with a depth of feeling that made her heart race. “I received that knife wound back in Euron. It’s nothing I can’t handle. I’ll be fine in a few days,” he reassured her, his voice calm yet firm.

Deanna’s chest tightened painfully at his words. “And at Mistbane Pack, I struck you right where it hurt the most. Why didn’t you tell me?” Her voice was a mix of frustration and concern, each word laced with an urgency that reflected her feelings.

Luis reached out, his thumb gently brushing away her tears. “The curse is gone. Compared to that, this little injury is trivial.”

“Don’t cry,” he added, his tone lightening in an attempt to ease her sorrow.

“You cried earlier, and now you’re crying again. If you keep this up, I might reconsider marrying you,” he teased, a playful glint in his eyes.

“Luis!” Deanna bit her lip, a mix of irritation and affection bubbling up inside her.
