Marked By the Pureblood Alpha (Deanna and Luis) novel Chapter 331

**Chapter 331: Since When Do Any of You Get To Judge My Woman?**

In the dimly lit room, Grace sat directly opposite Deanna, her expression a mask of disdain. The air between them crackled with unspoken tension.

*She’s certainly attractive enough,* Grace thought, her eyes narrowing slightly as she studied Deanna. *But women like her are always the most calculating, aren’t they?*

In this modern age, who still resorts to using a child as leverage to ascend the social ladder? *Luis must have been ensnared by her charms, fooled by the mere presence of a baby.*

Deanna, sensing the scrutiny, lifted her chin defiantly. Her gaze locked onto Grace’s, unwavering and cold, as if challenging the contempt that dripped from Grace’s demeanor. *So Ruth truly did come prepared with backup,* she mused, her heart racing yet steady.

Grace’s lips curled into a mocking smile, her tone dripping with sarcasm as she spoke, “Oh, of course. With all the upheaval in the Mooncrown Pack, we simply had to return and observe the spectacle for ourselves.”

Luis, relaxed and seemingly unfazed by the brewing storm, reclined in his chair. One arm draped casually over the back of Deanna’s seat while his fingers drummed lightly on the polished table.

“Since everyone has gathered here today, allow me to introduce Deanna Wiley, the mother of my child. We’re set to have our mating ceremony next month,” he declared, his voice steady and confident, as if announcing a grand event.

At this proclamation, Grace’s irritation flared, and she interjected sharply, “Mr. Eaton, while your status may be noble, I must remind you, as your aunt, that the Mooncrown Pack boasts a lineage of purebloods spanning over a century. Your marriage is not a trivial matter. You can’t simply announce it with a single sentence.”

With a graceful flick of her wrist, she summoned the maid hovering nearby. The maid rushed forward, presenting a sleek tablet to Grace, who opened it with an air of authority before tossing it onto the table with a flourish.

“Ms. Wiley,” Grace continued, her voice dripping with condescension, “your pack manages these shopping centers, correct? Frankly, they are embarrassing to even mention.”

Her eyes gleamed with malice as she continued, “Your scandal with Mr. Faulkner is the talk of Nordale. Isn’t that baby his? How did it suddenly become Luis’s?”
