Mending a Broken Love (Sebastian and Roxanne) novel Chapter 73

Sebastian's eyes were filled with contemplation, making it impossible to read his thoughts. Nicholas walked in to change Roxanne's IV drip and sighed.

"Liana's condition isn't good either. Do you want to go check on her?"

Nathaniel wouldn't kill Liana, but he had indeed done terrible things to her. She had lost control emotionally, causing her body to collapse into unconsciousness. She called Sebastian's name even in her delirium.

But Sebastian was unwilling to leave. He wanted to stay by Roxanne's side.

Now, Liana was alternating between madness, tears, and laughter, insisting that Sebastian come to her.

Sebastian didn't respond. He was utterly exhausted. Fortunately, Roxanne was safe. Otherwise, today's events would have been the greatest regret of his life.

Nicholas observed Sebastian's expression and knew he had no intention of seeing Liana. He sighed. If only Sebastian had made this decision sooner.

Miles was indeed dead. But Sebastian had already done more than enough to compensate for it. Halesworth Group's business was thriving, and Liana was the princess of her family.

Miles wasn't worth Sebastian sacrificing his entire life for. The debt should have been settled long ago.

Nicholas had never understood Sebastian. As a man who wasn't particularly sentimental or overly bound by morality, why did Sebastian treat Liana and Miles so differently? He just couldn't figure it out.

After being rescued by Gordon's team, Liana was taken to the hospital. She kept calling Sebastian's name, but no one answered.
