CHAPTER 37
Asher only dropped me off at my house before he said he had to go to the packhouse to deal with the stalker. It wasn’t something that he could put off because that guy didn’t belong to our pack and he was on his way to the dungeon in our pack.
As soon as he left I went inside and I started making something to eat before I made a coffee and I sat on
the front stairs.
I saw wolves walking past on a regular basis so I knew that Asher had sent protection for me. Obhloudy warriors that he trusted more than any others because we didn’t know who left those photos on my
doorstep.
I went back inside and cleaned the kitchen and put everything away.
I was going to sit down and start studying but I couldn’t concentrate. So I walked out of the house and 1 headed towards the packhouse.
As soon as I got there I saw Nicole sitting on the patio with a bunch of her friends and they all just glared
at me.
But I ignored them and I walked inside the house.
“Trinny.” Asher said, coming to the entrance of the house.
“Hi.” I said.
“What’s going on?” He asked.
“I was going to ask you that. Did you talk to his Alpha?” I asked.
“I did. He wasn’t much help. His Alpha doesn’t know too much about him. So, I don’t know what we’re supposed to do with him.” Asher said.
“What does his Alpha say? I mean, he does belong to that Alpha even if he doesn’t know him.” I said.
“I know. The Alpha is looking into it and he’s going to get back to us. He’s not at all impressed that the
bastard is stalking the future Luna of this pack.” Asher said.
He was being straight forward with me about a lot of things right now, but I could tell that he was still
holding something back. He wasn’t telling me everything.
“What else?” I asked.
“What do you mean?” He asked.
“Don’t f*****g lie to me Asher. I know there’s something else.” I said.
“The photos on his phone. None of them are the same as the ones that were put on your doorstep.” He
said.

“So, he didn’t take those photos?” I asked.
“It doesn’t look like it.” Asher said.
“Fuck.” I said, looking around. But Asher reached out and grabbed my hands.
“Hey, it’s going to be alright. We’re gonna find out who did it.” Asher said, pulling me in for a hug.
P
“We already know who did it. They promised that they weren’t going to let me get away with ruining their lives. They meant it. They always mean their threats.” I said.
“They aren’t going to come anywhere near you. I’m not going to let them. Neither are my parents or this
pack.” He said.
“I believe that your parents won’t. This pack isn’t going to do s**t to help me. We both know that.” I said.
“Why do you say that?” He asked, pulling back and looking me in the face.
“Because your brothers are the only friends that I have here. I’ve lived here my whole life and they are the
only friends I have ever made.” I said.
The Alpha came up the stairs from the dungeon and he saw me standing there with Asher.
“Did he say anything?” Asher asked.
“Only the photos that he took were for himself. Only himself. He never delivered any of them to Trinity. He didn’t know anything about that date that you two went on.” Alpha Dennis said.
“Wow. He’s a pretty shitty stalker if he didn’t know we went on a date.” I said and Asher started chuckling.
“Dinner’s almost ready. Why don’t you stay?” Asher asked.
“I just ate at home. I’ve got my books though. Do you mind if I stay here for a while? I can stay in your
room and study.” I said.
“Yeah. That’s fine.” Asher said. So he kissed me and I walked upstairs to his bedroom.
As soon as I went inside I closed the door behind me and I sat at the desk in his room and I started doing my homework and studying for the classes that I had today.
There was a lot more work that needed to be done now because I had midterms coming up and they went towards a huge chunk of my grade, so I had to try and concentrate. No matter what else was happening in my life.
When Asher came upstairs after dinner he leaned on the back of the chair I was sitting on to see what I
was doing.
“I honestly don’t know who you manage to do that.” Asher said.
“What?” I asked.
“Concentrate on all that stuff. I mean, psychology. I don’t have that kind of brain span.” He said.

CHAPTER 17
“Don’t you mean attention span?” I asked and he growled playfully as he pulled the chair backwards that I
was sitting on making me squeal.
But he leaned down and kissed me before he put the chair back where it was.
“I think you’ve done enough for today.” Asher said.
“Not really.” I said, as he closed my books and he grabbed my hand and pulled me off of the chair.
“Yeah. You’ve definitely done enough. And you look like you need a shower.” He said, tugging at the hem of my shirt as he was walking backwards, pulling me towards the bathroom with him.
“Yeah. I guess a shower would feel pretty good.” I smirked at him.
As soon as we stepped foot in the bathroom Asher didn’t take his eyes off of me while he turned the shower on and he pulled my shirt off over my head.
